It looks like Workfront rolled out a new Search interface without alerting us of the change in the release notes (not good). Anyone having issues with this search interface? When I switch over the the Advanced Search option in the interface it crashes my browser. Wish they would iron out all the bugs in these updates prior to them being rolled out to the user base.
tested a bit more and I cannot see more than 25 records despite there being hundreds available according to the search. Looks like the search function is completely broken.
I don't doubt you, but this isn't happening in my environment. Could this be something temporary? My advanced search looks the same and functions normally over here.

They updated their release notes sometime last night to include the updated interface for search and advanced search. It looks like a phased rollout that began April 17th. You'll see it soon on your instance unless they roll it back.

I have ticket 00438009 open because in our instance the Basic search seems to be reasonable, but once you then sub-filter down to Project/Task etc levels - many of the filter criteria display as their systemIDs rather than human readable names. So I can filter a search to Projects, but if I then want to isolate by Company, Sponsor, Template, or Group - I'm unable to do so unless I look up the lengthy system ID string that represents that record. Same issue for searching Tasks, then wanting to filter by Team - Team displays as unreadable system IDs.
My coworker informed me of this issue too! I updated my support ticket to include this issue.

Advanced search is broken.
Example: Basic search returns 10000+ results:
Advanced search returns zero results with no filter applied:
Basic search is not intuitive.
Example: If I select 'Projects', the other options are hidden, so the users have to guess that they need to unselect it to see all the options.
With a selection:
Without any selection or after unchecking:
99% of the times advanced search is not required as the basic search is good enough, plus users are not so good with the filters.
'Search' can be a pop-up window rather than a full page. full page kind of looks ugly

I thought Advanced was broken for awhile too, but I happened to walk away from it at one point while testing and got distracted. When I came back ~15-20min later, it had eventually returned results. It's just incredibly slow when searching things like tasks. (At least in our instance, yours certainly may be behaving differently.)
