New Resource Manager access level

So we're just starting to really dive into the Resource Planner. One thing I'm struggling with is viewing the projects and the Availability being for every single role in our resource pool. So the AVL for the project shows a ton of hours because it includes roles that aren't used on that project. Is there a way to filter to remove the Roles that aren't used for that particular project? I was looking for a filter to do a Planned Hours < 1 but it doesn't seem to give task level or role level information like that. I also thought about manually filtering on only the roles I needed but we're looking at our whole portfolio so it will vary for each project. Has anyone conquered this?
