Mapping Custom Project Statuses to Issue Statuses

Hi Again, We've added a couple of custom project statuses and are trying to understand if there is a way to map that to a native issue status? For example: We added " awaiting feedback " as a custom a status at the project level and would like it to map to " awaiting feedback " at the issue level. It's currently pointing to " on hold ". Our admins aren't sure if it's possible. Hope that make sense. Thank everyone as usual!

I don't understand what you mean by trying to map a Project Status to an Issue status. In the end, what are you trying to accomplish?

sounds like they are using the "Equates with" column and need more options than what it provides. If so, I don't think it's possible either.
