Hi Everyone, Pretty please can you vote for the below idea I have posted on the idea exchange: https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115006483633-Amend-custom-form-fields I feel this is a fundamental flaw with the system and needs fixing, however I have been told this behaviour is working as designed. It simply doesn't make any sense that you are not able to remove the selection made in a mandatory dropdown field if the selection is no longer applicable due to a change in the scope of a project. Thanks in advance for your support. AtTask Admin Premier Farnell Premier Farnell UK Ltd

Can you clarify the issue? The feature request states: " We MUST have the ability to amend selections in mandatory drop-down fields after they have been populated, if the scope of a project changes. Currently this is not possible and is not at all logical that the system is designed to prevent amends being made to a field selection just because it is mandatory. This currently means Workfront reporting is inaccurate." We are able to amend or change selections in drop down fields after they have been populated. Can you let me know what I'm missing? If it's a mandatory field, you just need to add an option for "N/A". If you don't want to select an option, then it shouldn't be marked as mandatory. Adina Pierce Cisco

When you say mandatory drop down, are you talking about the Topic Groups and Queue Topics? We have run into issues where people are selecting the wrong options and there is no way to change it. But if it is an actual drop down field that is mandatory, we can edit it those. Anthony Imgrund FCB

Hi, I'm also not clear on why you can't change the drop-down. A change in project scope (tasks etc) shouldn't affect whether you can change drop-down fields on the project (or tasks). Perhaps you talking about a custom form with some display logic so that some fields only display depending on what is selected in another field? So, if you have a field called 'Project Scope' and that changes, then possibly some other fields disappear and others appear (and you can't change the data in the ones which disappear via that form). If that's the case, you can still edit those fields if you add them to a view. Regards, David Cornwell
