Group hours worked by parent tasks?

Dear workfront community I'm stumped on a report and wondering if you might have any ideas. I have an hour report that groups hours worked by parent tasks I had to do the grouping in "text mode". When I run the report The "Details" tab is working correctly. However, The Summary and Cart tabs are grouping everything under a "Task: Parent:name: No Value". I can see from the Details tab that the Parent value is there, but don't understand why the other two tabs can't see it. Any ideas?

Hi DJ, I suspect the No Value is because the report is exceeding Workfront's "3 hop limit". In this case, it's trying to hop from Hour > Task > Parent Task > Name...which - although the Task object is being hit twice - is four hops. The common solution is to use a calculated parameter to bring the desired data "closer", within 3 hops. In this case, you might consider adding a custom calculated text parameter called "Parent Task Name" with a formula of Parent.Task.Name and attaching it to all Tasks (and Template Tasks) of interest, then change your Hour report formula to Hour > Task > {DE:Parent Task Name} - 3 hops.
