Discard Custom Messages over Versions of Proofs

You know how you can include a message on Proofs? But then it sticks with the proof throughout it's lifespan? Is there a setting I can change that will discard the message from the proof after it's been sent without having to go in and actually select discard custom message every time?

We haven't found a way to discard that message. For that reason, we stopped using the message area on proofs. After sending the proof, we post a comment in the project update with any additional information we want to send along.

As long as discarding or keeping is selectable; we like this "keep" behavior. Makes it easier to send the same note to new reviewers added after the start. 😉
