Boards and Tags - Reporting

Hello - I"m curious is there a way to report on work within the Dynamic Board and the Tags assigned to each?   I have two different teams 1) is Qualitative and 2) is Quantitative.   We have tagged the tasks in our Dynamic Board accordingly however, how I can I pull this field into a report showing there work together but grouped?    

Any thoughts or help is appreciated.

Hi @AngieH1, 

Thank you for your question! Currently, dynamic boards in Workfront do not have the capability to directly include tags as a reportable field. However, you may be able to achieve something similar by using a workaround. 

You can try to use a custom field instead of tags. 

1. Go to Setup → Custom Forms and create a custom form with a drop-down field to represent your tags (eg. "Team Type" with options "Qualitative" and "Quantitative")
   Apply this custom form to the tasks on your Dynamic Board
2. Go back to your Dynamic Board and bulk update your tasks to select the appropriate team type using your custom field
3. Go to Reporting → New Report → Task Report
   Add a grouping based on the custom field ("Team Type")
   Filter to include only tasks from the Dynamic Board or within the relevant project(s)
