API: A Dashboard filtered by projectID?

Hello everyone, We do have a dashboard, which we have added to every project (via Layout Templates, custom tabs), to use only one Dashboard, which is related to the respective project viewed on. Since now more teams are requesting the same feature, and we're not so keen on creating X additional tabs on our layouts, I wondered if we could filter for a specific project via API? I was envisioning a custom field, redirecting to a custom URL filtered by the respective project ID (using concat for calculated fields). Is this possible? Something like this.... https://xxx.my.workfront.com/dashboard/view?ID=xxx&projectID=xxx Thank you very much in advance! Kind regards, Marius Marius Uzolas

Dashboards added to a Project are automatically filtered to that project ID. Same goes for most objects. Melinda Layten Technical Project Manager - API and Integration Workfront

Hey Melinda, thank you very much for your reply! I know that dashboards are filtered to a project ID, when this is done via the layout (custom tab). But what I would like to know is, if this is also possible without adding the dashboard to the project. Thinking of a "prompt" (via API?) to filter for a specific project. Any ideas? Yes you can prompt for Project Name Equals to get the Project Typeahead Field to select one project. But that's report by report and not a full dashboard. @DougDenHoed has a tool called UberDashboard that can do a single prompt for a full dashboard. Thanks Melinda. Marius, I invite you to consider our "https://store.atappstore.com/product/uberfilter/" UberFilter solution, as an option. Regards, Doug Doug Den Hoed - AtAppStore Got Skills? Lend a hand! https://community.workfront.com/participate/unanswered-threads

Thank you Doug - but as far as I understand we'd need to add every project as a filter, correct? Kind regards, Marius Marius Uzolas HERE

That's correct, Marius. Adding a "wildcard" search (e.g. "Project(s) that contain...") is still on our roadmap, as is expanding UberFilter to other object types (Hours and Timesheets being next up). I'd be happy to chat further offline via doug.denhoed@atappstore.com, if you'd like to explore any of these options. Regards, Doug Doug Den Hoed - AtAppStore Got Skills?
