Workfront details visible in Proof

In organisations with Workfront + Proof, a document will typically be added to an issue/task within a project and a proof generated from within Workfront.

We should be able to display information (especially information in custom forms) from Workfront relating to the project, task and/or issue with Proof. Otherwise, every proof reviewer needs a Workfront licence even if their only function is to review and approve artwork. They also need a navigation path, as the notification e-mail from Proof and the proof viewer does not provide any reference back to Workfront.

One approach would be to allow calculated fields in the Proof custom form builder that references the Workfront data model.

Hi. This is now available from within the Proof viewer. Thanks!

Jeremy, could you provide more details on how, when I'm looking at a proof in the proofing viewer, I can see information about the task and/or project the proof is associated with (including information on custom forms attached to the task and/or project)? I'm not aware of anything in 20.3 or 20.4 preview that provided this.

@Barry, yes, of course. I was referring to the breadcrumb which is available within the proof viewer as shown here below.

Hi

This is a good start but I would not say it has been fully delivered. We still need to go back to Workfront to see the project information captured custom forms which is not user friendly. Are you planning to include this feature in proof viewer also ? it could be as a side navigation (similar to workflows, proof details, etc.).

Is it planned? Thanks

Thanks for the additional feedback. Based on this new information, I will set this back to "Seeking Votes."
