When a user is out of office they should be able to set an auto reply to directed updates and in the reply be able to tag the user/team that is covering for them.
Potentially looking this to the delegate approvals function would be great, so when someone sets their approvals to be delegated that would trigger the out of office too
Adding too maybe the possibility to have the users show up with a colored icon somewhere that shows Online, Offline, etc. like on Skype/Microsoft Teams/etc. that could turn purple if they had their Out of Office on or give some kind of indication.
We would really like this as well. We have been getting complaints if someone doesn't respond on a notification right away but if the person is out of the office, they cannot. It would be good to set an Out of Office just like MS Outlook
Hear hear -- my organization also is looking for Workfront functionality that informs end-users when a coworker they've tagged in an update/comment is out of the office. I and my organization are super supportive of placing such functionality on the Workfront development roadmap!!!
