Manager report for number of projects per worker

We're hoping for functionality to be added that will show a list of projects any one person is involved in. The closest Workfront can get is a task report, grouped by worker, then by project, but the list is incredibly long because the results are by number of tasks. Hoping for a way to only show by project where the worker is assigned to at least 1 task within that project. We’re looking to include this report in a graph managers can refer to at a glance.

Our PM's requested the same thing, we showed them the new Scheduling tab and how to use filtering and it got rid of this need for them as they actually just needed an easy way to see the tasks(and project names) that each of our developers were working on. Maybe that could help solve your need as well?

Thanks for the suggestion Derek!

We actually looked at this section as a possibility, but the results aren't very clear.

You can get to this info a couple of different ways which we have, but it takes a lot of effort to do so. I as a Project Manager do have some reports to work from where we can get to this, but it's more a request for managers so when they are assigning designers, they can pull it up, glance at it, then make a better decision based on project load. Right now using what's available, it takes at least 10-15 minutes to get to that info. Otherwise, it has to be done in Excel which isn't ideal.

Hmm we get all of that info by looking at the scheduling tab as it shows allocation and it takes ~30 seconds the time to click people -> Scheduling -> Filter but our needs are probably different. That part that takes a bit of time is learning that Scheduling view, and getting filters set up but after they are set up we were good to go.

We are definitely in the same situation. We have been trying since day 1 to get a report to show projects per worker. It is so simple to pull projects per owner. Being a database, i'm sure it can be done where it looks for anyone with an assignment against the project. Please workfront team, resolve this.
