We have many templates that are used nationally, we tried regionally but it just did not work well to be honest. With that said, since we have the default company schedule set to "East Coast Project Manager" which has a Eastern Standard Time time zone. This creates an issue whenever a Project Manager or Project Owner creates a project from a template, they have to manually update the time zone/schedule.
If there was a way to get the system to automatically update the time zone/schedule to the Project Owners schedule that would save us a lot of time in having to remind folks to update that field, reduce confusion around the time of day items are supposed to start and be completed, and reduce the number of tasks that show as late because the schedule was not updated at the outset of the project.
