Setting up a connection to Bynder with Fusion

I just got this working, so thought I share to save the next person trying to figure this out some time.

  1. In Bynder, you need to have permissions to https://www.[your domain].com/pysettings/
  2. Click OAuth Apps, add new App
  3. Use grant type Authorizaion Code + Refresh Token; Authorization redirect URI for workfront is https://app.workfrontfusion.com/oauth/cb/workfront-bynder
  4. Select whatever you want to access via Fusion.

This will give you the client ID and client secret, copy those.

When you add the connection in Fusion, use your bynder domain name and then click the Advanced check box and add that ID and secret codes there.

thanks Krissy. We are actually working with Bynder right now to try to make this easier (so you don't have to do this extra setup). In the meantime, you are exactly right! If we don't make progress more quickly on making it easier, we'll update Fusion text and documentation to make this more intuitive.
