Workfront Experience Beta- Review and Feedback

Hello, I tried the new Workfront Experience and below are some notes/ thoughts: Left Panel- This kept disappearing on me, especially when on the Projects Page. I had to refresh for it to reappear (and that didn't always work). It would be great if it had a >> Button to expand and << button to collapse. If every time my mouse drifted over there, the menu popped out, it would be irritating to say the least. Dashboard List- For the life of me, I was unable to find the Dashboard list. In the current production it is under the reporting tab, but I couldn't find it anywhere Portfolio List- I was also unable to find the list of Portfolios. Which makes top down administration difficult. Tab Descriptions- I pinned one of my most used Dashboards to the top and the description said "Projects" , After pinning several items it looks like the tab description just takes the name of the Parent Page. So the top of my screen was basically [Projects][Projects][Projects][Projects][Projects][Projects]. Proof access from home screen- This is an issue in the current production system, but it looks like it has carried over to the new workfront experience. When you click "Go To Proof" from the home screen, it doesn't work. It either takes you to blank screen, or your calendar for some reason. Without the items listed above, I found the Beta to be unusable. I've switched back and will wait for the next batch of improvements. Thanks, Saher Almaita

Update the Main navigation tab can be customized in the Setup > Layout area to add these items. Dashboard List- For the life of me, I was unable to find the Dashboard list. In the current production it is under the reporting tab, but I couldn't find it anywhere Portfolio List- I was also unable to find the list of Portfolios. Which makes top down administration difficult. Thanks, Saher Almaita

I have users that opt'd into Beta but now want out. How do I opt them out of Beta? Tammy Hall-Johnson Munchkin

Hi Saher and Tammy, I LOVE seeing this kind of detailed feedback and questions. I highly encourage you to post all new Workfront experience questions and feedback directly in the "https://community.workfront.com/discussions/community-home?CommunityKey=0425cafc-f0ec-47fc-be20-a21dc073d520" Beta group as that is the place our product team will be watching and engaging, not in Global Discussions. Thank you for taking time to share, we know you have many responsibilities every day and coming to the community to share really benefits everyone! - Kyna Kyna Baker Customer Content and Community Manager Workfront

Hi Tammy, Here is the help documentation on how to add and remove users from the new experience, this is currently controlled by System Admins only during this Beta. We recommend this phase be a chance for System Admins and then your power users to test out the new experience and provide us your feedback. Once we get to a general availability phase, that is when we would recommend rolling this out to more of your end users. For now, we would love to hear your feedback and any of your users feedback that have seen this new experience. Josh Boston Workfront

Here is additional feedback: Star - this no longer has the list of recent items, only favorites. That's something that's really used in our team. Is there a way to find the recents I'm not sure about? ETA - found it, but the move I think is confusing. Multiple errors - choosing project details, choosing requests, opening documents - all receive the same "An error has occurred and we are working to resolve the issue. To continue with your work, try refreshing this browser page." issue. It means its super-hard to work in. Search functionality - I really like this. It would be great if we could limit how far the search capacity goes. Specific tab details - org chart - this is a great functionality. I don't see how you can pull out one frame to print cleanly, that would be great!
