Having the project name visible maintains visibility to what project the task is associated with and provides easier access tor the team since most don't need to know or care what portfolio their project is related to.

@Josh Boston‚ . Are you able to respond to this? I'm receiving several complaints from my team and I'm not sure how to respond. Will this be fixed? It now takes several clicks to access the project from home. Thanks, Kathy
I have noticed this too and not a great experience. @workfront Please change back so that from the home/work list, we can easily click into the project name.
We are going to update on how the bread crumb truncates, so the project name doesn't truncate as soon as others. Depending on the size of the monitor or the size of the task list, the bread crumb will truncate at different lengths. As we work to update the header, one suggestion to display the project name, you can add Project Name as one the fields in the configurable section of Home Layout Templates. This will not hyperlink to the project, but will at least add the name of the project.

Thanks Patrick. I can add the project name to the layout template but the hyperlink to the project is more important. Any idea on timing? This is a huge pain point. Also, is the intent to still keep the project hierarchy (portfolio/program?) in that breadcrumb?

Yes, the goal is to still keep the hierarchy. I don't have timing just yet, but should have that soon.
You are correct, adding the name to the layout template doesn't hyperlink.
The other suggestion is to zoom out to 90%, if you are working on a laptop, to give more space for the bread crump.

Also, if you look at the work list in the calendar view, then click on details, the project link becomes much more in the forefront which I like 🙂
