What does the community mean to you?

Happy Monday everyone! I know how much fun it is to connect with new people at work conferences. It feels great to talk with people that actually understand what you do at work and what your challenges are. The community is a great way to keep those connections and enables you to continue the conversations after the event. I have been looking at Leap registration list; only about 40% of customers registered for Leap are in the community! I need your help to get everyone else in the group. I am looking for quotes from community members to share at Leap to help promote the community. The quote prompt is this: What does the Workfront Community mean to you and/or how has it helped you? Post your response below to help me out! Thanks, Alison Milbury Workfront Community Manager

The Workfront Community is my go-to place for reporting, calculated fields, and general features help and advice. It's nice to be able to tap into all the Workfront experts that are part of the community. Adina Pierce Cisco

The community has been an invaluable tool to help me be successful as a Workfront Administrator. Not only can I get advice from my peers but more cases than not I get a faster and better response to problems versus calling WF support. While we are fortunate to have 24x7 support and the sandbox many companies do not. I find the quality of the responses in the community site to be Tier 2 level or better. The Community is where I first learned text mode reporting. We are a community of project managers, systems administrators, experts and newbies alike who come together to discuss ways we can make Workfront work better for us. We are now in year 3 and counting and I still find that there are things that I can learn and some great ideas from the community. It is also a way for us to share what we've learned from our own instances. Regards. Polly Co

Thanks Alison -- this should lead to some very positive feedback! For me, the Community is the purest indicator to gauge how Workfront is doing as a company, a software platform, a thought leader, and a knowledge steward. I read every post I'm subscribed to (often "as it happens") to stay in tune with which way the Workfront winds are blowing, and I answer as many of those I believe I'm in a unique position to address (taking care to leave those I expect others can answer so they can have the satisfaction) as I can to share my knowledge, encourage others, and lead by example. In our busy lives, it is both an honor to help, and a genuine pleasure when someone reciprocates with ideas and appreciation. When community.workfont.com is alive, collaborative, inquisitive, heated, and interesting, I predict Workfront's fortunes are trending nicely (as are ours, and mine). Regards, Doug P.S. The community is a way to track industry standards. I look to this community as The Workfront Community of Practice to understand how others are using Workfront and what challenges they are facing. It is a solid indicator of best practices. The community enables me to continue evolving Workfront within my company and ensure leadership we are following industry standards. It provides so much knowledge. I find it invaluable. Jaclyn Reiter, PMP, SA Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives Equifax, Inc. St. Louis, MO 314-684-2693
