Too many issues

Is anyone else struggling with the amount of issues in the new experience. Since yesterday, I've had to open 6 different support tickets, some of them on very basic functionality like in-line edits on tasks not saving, not being able to delete a task, search isn't working, etc. I'm close to cancelling beta and reverting everyone back because I do not have the time to deal with all of these. Am I the only one? Thanks, Jen Jen Gulledge Elkay Manufacturing Company

Yep! You're the only one 😉 All the rest of us have it figured out Dave Rulon Pathological Liar

Jen, did you put all your users into Beta? If so, stop and take them all back out again. Only put in as many people as you're willing to deal with and if that's only one person, then that's how many users you put in there. I've already decided I can't handle more than 5 or 6 people at a time, so I am not going to put in more than that. -skye

Jen, I'm right there with you. I had tried to work the Beta version in my everyday, but had decided to switch back to the "Original" platform. It was too difficult to stay up with my workload and RE-learn Workfront. I'll try it again once the dust settles from the development stages. Fortunately, I hadn't switched anyone else to the New Experience, so transitioning back was easy. Good Luck, Dave Dave Rulon Savannah, GA 912-644-2452

I also had to revert back to original version due to challenges. I too, will wait until dust settles and maybe then add a few other Beta users. Susan

Thanks all - glad to know others are having similar struggles. Well, not glad per-say...bolstered maybe. 🙂 Jen Gulledge Elkay Manufacturing Company

I am the only user in our instance using the New Experience so I don't have to field lots of questions (on the New Experience). It has its bugs, but for the most part it is working for me. However, for the past few days I have to refresh every page every time I click through to a new page. Is anyone else experiencing that? Error message attached. Hello Sue 🙂 I run into this error quite frequently in the New Experience. Some days are better than others where it will load just fine when navigating from page-to-page, but other days not so much. I just have to keep hitting F5 each time I get that page and then it will load the content. I hope they resolve the issue sooner rather than later because it does get annoying on the days it happens almost every time I navigate from page-to-page. Heather Harden NTC

We have also run into this, and other issues, with the new experience. Because it can be extremely frustrating and inefficient to keep refreshing on the days when it's particularly bad, I seem to be continuously switching back and forth between the new experience and classic WF. I only have three other users currently testing the experience but they are more workers than project managers and don't seem to be having nearly the same amount of issues as me. I'm really trying to use it as much as possible, but when something needs to be done quickly and I can't do it, it stinks. The issues with proofing workflows are at the top of the list. Other things slowing us down include: task lists becoming non-responsive recent items not being next to favorites the new search not all project showing in programs needing to search for the reference number instead of having it on the header Barb Pilarski

I reverted back to the WF Classic, since there are too many issues with Experience. Once the bugs are worked out, I will add users back, but work comes first! Patricia Howay

Sue, I was having that issue last week, but cleared my cache and it has seemed better since then.

I'm still in the New Experience, but have had to revert back now and then for a few issues. My big ones that make me revert are reports with lots of columns... I can't scroll left/right adding new users with layout templates - the layout template doesn't seem to stick once I've saved that user (and most ALL our users have a layout template)

thanks for that reminder, I'll try that (obvious as that is, I'll admit I forget to do that). Sue Johnson Project Manager RBC Wealth Management

FYI Workfront friends, that did not help. Every click through renders the error "An unexpected error happened" and requires refresh. Sue Johnson Project Manager RBC Wealth Management

Sue Yes, I am experiencing the same refresh issue. It's honestly the only irritation I have with the New Experience. Chris Garbrandt Nationwide Children's Hospital chris.garbrandt@nationwidechildrens.org
