Solutions for Bulk Uploading Requests into Workfront

Do you process bulk uploades from workfront? If so, are you providing a template (spreadsheet) and then once you get that back, how do you take that data and create multiple requests? Thanks for any suggested solutions you might have or you are currently using? Benetta Perry APS

We get some requests from customers who upload a spreadsheet of their information, then we use a Kick-Start to take that spreadsheet and create separate issues for each item on the spreadsheet. Shameless LEAP plug if you're going... we'll be presenting on how we use Kick-Starts and will be including how we do this very thing.

Hi @Benetta Perry We currently use an API integration that, when one request is submitted via a particular request queue, it is duplicated as many times as needed (dependant on the selections on the custom form) and each team will then end up with their own request assigned to them but the original user has only submitted one request with the same information once. Vicky, Did your team write this or you paid a company? I am interested to know more. If a client upload 10 unique requests - how is this handled? We capture client name, address, phone, go live data, banking etc ... which is all very unique. Thanks for any insight. Benetta Perry APS

Benetta , No we presented on something capacity planning in 2019. I sat with someone from Workfront for one of the one-on-one sessions last year to learn how to do Kick-Starts, I haven't found them to be as complicated as everyone told me they were.
