Reporting - Edit mode: small workspace with scrollbar

Avatar

Level 3
Hello, does anyone else experience a very smal workspace when editing the filters of a report. For me it is really anoying to have two scroll bars here, as there would be enough space for showing more of the filter settings. Example: Best, Stephan Siller

Hi @Stephan Siller - yes, I already logged a ticket for this one (though it disappeared so I have re-logged it as ticket # 00179703). In addition to your concerns over the space utilisation, one of the other issues is that when trying to add a new filter parameter (once you already have a few filling the display area), the list goes off the bottom of the screen, but as there is no border line, users don't know this and think the screen is not working. Yes, and I've submitted feedback via the Help button, but this is definitely something I feel they should change. It's frustrating as-is with a small window and no dividing line or anything to indicate the end of the filter area. : / Maddy Martin

Ditto what Maddy replied. I also switch back to classic every time I have to edit reports. Sheri Whitten

It looks like this might have been updated over the weekend! After logging in this morning I've noticed a couple other enhancements, and now the workspace for editing reports is WAY better. 🙂 Maddy Martin Workfront Technology Specialist Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation

@Stephan Siller , @David Cornwell , and @Maddy Martin -- I've experienced the same exact issues. In fact, I was trying to create a new report one day and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to add an additional filter. Thankfully, I put my cursor into the workspace and scrolled by sheer luck. Thank you for logging a ticket (or two), David! Brandon Hamm Bravo Group
