Proof Details Missing

Does anyone know where we can find the proof details in the new experience? it seems Proof Details from the old UI has been renamed Proof Workflow, but when you click on it you don't get the same information. You can't see who a proof has been shared with or any activity on the proof. It appears to have only Document details and not actual Proof information. Barb Pilarski Pittsburgh Penguins

Yes, found it (sort of)! If you used an Automated Workflow, so you have multiple stages, then when you have your proof selected, click on the Details tab, then Stages > See All: It seems that "See All" option is only under Stages. I found one of our proofs that only had one stage, and I couldn't find any way to see the proof details from the Documents tab either. You can always open the Proof then click on Workflow in the proof window, but that's not ideal. :-/ Sheri Whitten Gordon Food Service

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. You can find all proofing information when you click document details on the list. https://screencast.com/t/8hlHtXvg You can find who a proof has been shared with under Proofing workflow link. You will also find most of these information soon directly on the document list on the enhanced document summary page https://screencast.com/t/AzQxtUvKaqgw Andrzej Muca Workfront

Thanks for your response, Andrzej! Wondering why I don't have the options for Proofing Workflow, Proofing Viewer Settings, or the Proofing Activities, in my sidebar, like you do? Sheri Whitten Gordon Food Service

Wondering if this is something that needs to be added to your view via a layout template...? I had to add Queue Setup to my view that way.

Hi Andrzej, When my team generates proofs we have automated workflows created. Currently we don't have the ability to add these and the details is still missing. This is causing an issue for my team who I have enrolled in the new experience. We are not able to send out the proofs currently to our business partners. Can you please let me know when this working correctly otherwise I will need to unenroll my team so it doesn't imapct due dates. Here is a screen shot of how the current details works in the legacy version and how my teams selects the correct workflows. Thanks, Henry Henry Champigny

How do you add proofing workflows when you first generate a proof in the beta version? Very easy in the legacy.I had to remove my team from the beta. Not able to add a proof workflow when the proof is first generated is disrupting our process and causing alot of confusing. Henry Henry Champigny

I don't have the same view as your screenshots either. I have been struggling with this too. Good to know a fix is on its way! Chris Garbrandt Nationwide Children's Hospital chris.garbrandt@nationwidechildrens.org

Hi Andrzej!

thank you for the information. In addition to this, could I provide a few feedback regarding the new proof view.

1. There is no way to exist out of proof when I am in "open Proof" view. It's confusing for the reviewer. I know I could click on any tab to get out but it's not intuitive enough. 2. the decision button is too small on upper right hand corner. it used to be big and visible below the proof thumbnail.

i know the thumbnail is a lot bigger but it also doesn't tell me it's clickable to open the proof for some users are not web savvy. 3. when I am in proof details, it doesn't allow me to get back to the the project easily as it's in a hidden scroll pull down (see my screenshot). I think the PM won't know how to get back to the project.

Hope you could look into this. I don't think it's ready for our team to use the new experience yet as they will get lost. Thanks Maggie Talierco Maggie Talierco0690z000007Zh7CAAS.png

Hi Maggie, Thank you for the feedback. 1. We are working on improvement here. Our plan is to implement breadcrumbs that will allow navigating to the parent object associated with the proof. 2. Thank you for the feedback will pass it to the team 3. This is an issue that should be fixed soon Andrzej Muca Workfront

@Andrzej Muca Any reason why the new experience separates the workflow from the activity (that includes activity and messages)? In classic it was all under proof details in accordion style, which was useful because that information is generally reviewed at the same time (at least for me). Now it's more clicks and screens. Hi Janelle, Thank you for your feedback. There a couple of reasons. Our goal is to have a unified document and proof experience where you have a single place to go for details, updates, and metadata about the document. In the future, we also want to merge document activities (such as approvals) with proofing activities. The first step was to separate the proofing workflow from Activity (the proofing activity log) and Messages (the list of messages that have been sent about the proof). The second reason was to achieve better consistency in navigation. We want navigation for documents and proofs to be similar to navigation for other objects in the system so that users can more easily find what they need. This was why we moved workflow and activities to the left panel. The third reason was a better organization. I see your point about needing more clicks to review the data. However, for a less experienced user, a separate "Activities" button makes it easier to find that data. Does that make sense? Andrzej Muca Workfront
