I had issues yesterday, as well, with pinning and adding new user information. Today the pinned objects showed up. Susan

Interesting....I had the same issue yesteday. Items were pinned using Chrome, and due to a WF bug where there's no horizontal scrollbar on reports, I logged in using Opera and Firefox browsers. I experienced a range of other UI issues (including the lack of pinned tabs) which made it unusable so I went back to Chrome and switched back to Classic mode. David Cornwell

Hi David (et al), I stumbled on a workaround in certain non-scrolling cases today: in Chrome, on my Windows laptop, I hit Ctrl+[minus symbol] several times to zoom out considerably, and then Ctrl+[plus symbol] several times to then zoom back in. By zooming out enough so that all columns were shown, as I then zoomed in, the UI seemed to be "aware" that I was trying to see everything, and resized the columns more narrowly (to some degree). Interestingly I just realised that if I login to the New Experience using Incognito mode, there are no pinned tabs. This makes me think that pinned tabs must be stored as cookies? Given the frequency with which we are asked to clear our cache and cookies by Support, this will be an issue for users....surely their pinned tabs should be stored at Workfront's end so they are consistently displayed across multiple devices and browsers? David, I think you're correct. My browser (Firefox/Mac OS) clears cookies on exit. I just presumed "pinning" wasn't ready for prime time because it never kept my pins from session to session. Sure enough, the pins stay or go depending on how I set my cookie behavior. I agree it's not ideal - users have lots of reasons to periodically clear their cache, and og in via different machines/different browsers, but won't realize pins are set by cookies and jump to the conclusion that "Workfront is broken." Ditto with the same issues as David and William with the clearing of cache and my pins disappearing. I'm on a PC using Chrome. Kathleen Quan Workday

Hi All, Yes the pins are currently stored in your local browser storage and therefore if you switch browsers or use incognito mode the pins will not be displayed. We are actively working on moving this out of your browser and into the Workfront application (stored client side). This will be available in two weeks allowing pins to be used across devices and browsers. Josh Boston Workfront

Hello Josh, great to hear that you are improving the "pin experience". One more thing to add from my side. It would be great to have a little bit more information on hover. Example: I have a Task called "Improvement" on more than one projects I am working on. If I pin two of them, I do not have the Project name on hover, therefore it would be difficult to find the correct pin. Additionally I have to mention, that my pins even get lost if I stay in the same browser - opening several tabs. I suspect that will be fixed with the solution your team is working on.
