Hi All,
We are happy to announce that "Importing existing projects into your plans" feature is already available in your Workfront preview and production instances!
With this feature in place, you will be able to visualize and understand how your existing work interacts with potential new work, and how your resources can be best allocated between the two.
Please continue to give us feedback using the Feedback button located in the bottom right corner in the Scenario Planner tool. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here in this Beta group.
Thanks,
Ani

Hi @Jackie Goeldner‚ , thanks for your question.
The Import Projects functionality is in the dropdown next to the New initiative button, when you have already created a plan.
Here is a screenshot for reference:
Let me know if it worked for you.
Thanks and regards,
Ani

Hi Ani - do we need to do something to activate this feature? I still only see the "New Plan" Option & when I click on that there is no import option either? Please let me know where I need to look for "Import". Thank you.

Hi @Ani Mkrtchyan‚ - in watching the original video where you covered this - I see you mention we can control the filters on what projects we see to pull in. Right now my scenario planner pulls in from 'My Projects'. How do I change that to have it look at all projects owned by my team (would like to have the option to pull in projects owned by specific folks on my team in one plan, then different folks in another plan). Thanks
Christopher

Hi @Christopher, in the Scenario Planner's Import list you should see all the filters that you see in your Projects list, both the default ones and the ones shared with you, with the only difference that you can't change or create filters from SP's Import list. I'm attaching my current view as an example, you can see that I have filtered my projects to be imported with a custom filter (Customer facing) shared with me.
So, if you see different filters in SP and in Projects, then there should be some issue there that we need to explore.
Can you please send some screenshots or log an issue if that's the case for you?
Thanks,
Ani
Thanks @Ani Mkrtchyan‚ - my projects list report ESP is pulling from has the filter as project user ID = $$USER.ID so regardless of what filter I add to the project list it will still always just be my projects. I'll continue to play around with it.
