I'll try to make it! Here are a few spots close to the hotel that I'd recommend: The Bayou - Cajun food, occasional live jazz music, and the biggest selection of local beers on tap in town. Chedda Burger - Super casual, but great burgers and fries. The Gibson Lounge - This is a fantastic place at the hotel to find a quiet corner, order some good food and chat. The menu is less formal (soups, sandwiches, cheese plates, etc.) than the main restaurants, but the setting allows for a bit more relaxed conversation and mingling. Thanks for the food suggestions! I think probably what's best is to set up a meeting place that doesn't require reservations or rely on people buying things (so that we're not taking up space). For example, can I suggest "Launchies meet in the hotel lobby couch area [assuming the hotel has a couch area] at 5PM and then the group can be raucous and friendly until dinnertime, whereupon they will vote on where to relocate to for dinner."?

The lounge sounds great! I'm also trying to make sure I follow everybody on the app so we have a quick way to connect. And all those restaurant look good.
