Landing page customization research

Hi everyone! Thank you for testing the new Workfront experience and participating here in the Beta group. We are excited for those of you helping us improve the experience and would like to collect more of your feedback! We do want to make it even better and need your help getting feedback on a solution we are looking forward to building. In the Classic experience, there was a feature many of you actively used and probably loved - landing page selection on Layout Templates, which was used to determine where people land when they login to Workfront. It also became the page where you were brought to after a click on Workfront logo (or maybe your company's) We do want to support that functionality in New Workfront Experience as well and as of now we see 2 possible solutions taking into account the new Workspace navigation model: Allow customizing the Lion icon URL in New Workfront Experience, which is currently always dedicated to Workfront Home. Making it so that the first pin on your Workspace automatically (or manually) becomes your landing page. I'd love to hear your feedback and know your opinion on this. Assuming the pinned items are always visible, then it would be redundant to click on the lion to go back to the first pinned item when you could just click on it immediately to the right. How about making the lion icon do something very different, like toggling to full screen? David Cornwell

While i agree that it is redundant - users are typically accustomed to clicking on an icon to go back home / go back to the beginning - changing that icon to do something else would have a negative impact (imho). I would prefer that they both take a user to the same place as that is what the current experience does. if that isn't an option then i would default to the icon taking users back home. selfishly i would also like to be able to update that icon to user our company logo instead of the lion along with more enhanced system level branding capabilities but that is a point for another thread :) Ryan Carroll Integrated Marketing Services

Also would it be possible to allow sys admins to customize the default pinned tabs for users? so we can ensure that users have the necessary tabs pinned by default? Ryan Carroll Integrated Marketing Services
