Issues with Filters - New Experience

Hi All, Is anyone else having issues with filter constraints sticking when modifying in a list view? I am in the users section (formally people). I created a filter by job role and put in the one I am trying to look at, then added another filter for active. When I hit save, I get no results. I go back in and edit my filter and the job role is now blank and the active filter changed to false. Video attached. Hope we can get this fixed! Thanks, Sarah Sarah Nau

Hi Sarah, Filters is working fine for me. Thanks for sharing the video! When you created it the first time, although no results were returned, I did not see you confirm that it wasn't in your list of filters. Other than that, I have no other thoughts. Sorry! The only small thing I can think of is that sometimes the click out of the edit box confirms the value. On the first attempt, your "click out" was was simultaneously also a click for "save" (cursor was still blinking in the box when you clicked save), so maybe the save took before the value locked in. On the second attempt, you clicked into second filter, which processed the value entry in the first filter, then saved after that. In effect, making the role "value entry" and the "save" 2 separate clicks. Try doing the first approach again, but click out into white space before clicking save. If that's the issue, I would personally consider it a bug, but it would be up to Workfront to confirm that. Matt Marks

Hi All, Thanks for the feedback! The first time I tried and got no results was due to the custom field selection clearing out but still having the qualifier of equal. I did try clicking in the white space before saving and no luck there as well. @Josh Boston - is this a known issue or should I put in a support ticket? Thanks! Sarah Nau

Hi Sarah, Another customer also submitted this issue and I was able to reproduce the same error you are seeing by following your steps in the video. I did find that if I re-entered in the job role and hit save, the filter started working again. However, I had to repeat the process a few times and the response wasn't consistent. We have it logged as an issue. Thanks for raising this as a question here in the Beta group. Josh Boston Workfront
