Although we wish we could connect in person, we're excited about all the connections we can make and the incredible sessions that are coming the end of June. In the meantime, tell us:

  • Where are you based?
  • How long you've been using Workfront products?
  • What do you miss most about in-person events?

I agree that those side conversations can be amazing! We're working on some ways to help create some of those conversations in a virtual way. If you have any ideas you want to see us explore, please send them my way!

  • The networking/friendship building and all the different conversations that happen. In-person events make me get out of my shell.

Well you posted on here so I feel like you're already getting out of your shell, so thank you for that!

  • I enjoy the face to face interactions of live events. Unfortunately, not everyone has access or utilizes their laptop camera capability. It's easy to get complacent and do other things and not participate fully in the session or meeting you are attending. The camera's tend to keep us present, like you would be in a live setting.

I agree! I work remotely (even pre-COVID-19) so cameras are SO helpful in making me not only feel present but get to know people. Many of our user group attendees have been turning on their cameras and it's so nice to see people!

  • ‚Hi, I'm Kathy Rhoads, I'm the PMO Manager at Kenan Advantage Group based out of Canton, Ohio
  • Kenan has used Workfront for almost 4 years
  • The in person events provide a great opportunity to network with folks you might otherwise not meet. At the last conference I had really in-depth conversations about Workfront experiences and wins with other attendees. These conversations occurred at Breakfast, lunch, dinner, during social events, during breaks and even while waiting in the airport on the way home. That will be the most missed part of being virtual. I am looking forward to Leap this year and look forward learning from others.

Hello there! I'm Jeremiah Graham, I am a project manager/WF system admin for SmileDirectClub based out of Nashville, TN. SDC switched over to Workfront last year and I have used WF in various jobs since 2014.

The general interactions and opportunity to network is definitely what I miss most about in-person events. Getting to meet folks from all kinds of different backgrounds and industries. Learning how they use the platform (sometimes in ways you would never think of),

Good Morning! I'm Peggy form Central PA, Penn State Main Campus.

Workfront Classic (2yrs) and now Workfront Experiences for about 9 months or so.

I definitely miss face to face with people. I feel you get more down to earth communication that way. I miss the faces on our customers when entering a room full of people with a beautiful setup. I miss talking with people at registration. Oh heck I just miss it all.

  • I miss overhearing conversations and butting myself in to add insight or learn something new. I also miss meeting new people and making bonds early in the conference so as I see them in the hallways we make legitimate friends. The open conversation during Q&A rounds, something is lost with the barrier of Zoom where I don't feel as inclined to chime in as I would in person. I also miss the overall energy, even when I find a quiet place to do a little work between sessions there's a buzz in the air. And last but not least THE PARTIES!!! Workfront throws the best party hands-down.

‚Hello, I'm Wendy Viehmann and I'm a Project Manager and system admin for WF. Went live with it about a year ago. I was so looking forward to an in person conference, but alas the world has a different plan. I'm really glad the conference is still happening virtual and I'm sure I will get some benefit from it, but it's hard to stop working when you are at work and have people pinging you all the time.

I'm looking forward to learning what I can and doing any networking that can be done also

Hello Virtual Friends - Matt Brada here. I am the Alliance Manager and Delivery Director for our Workfront practice at Capgemini. My team of 6 are all based in Dallas/FW area. We've been partners for 4 years, I personally have known the application for ~6 years when it was still AtTask. Its been fun (and a privilege) to watch Workfront mature under Alex Shootman.

Hi! I'm Ellen, based in St. Louis, MO using Workfront for Weissman's Theatrical Supplies / Dancewear Solutions. I've only been using Workfront for about 6 months. My former supervisor was the biggest Workfront champion and had been using it 6+ years. The goal of attending the conference was to better learn the Workfront system as well as see what options are out there for better utilization.

‚Hi! I'm Lydia, based in Charlotte, NC. I've only been using Workfront for almost 10 months now, and feel like I'm continuously learning something new about the program. I still wish Leap were able to happen because I'm certainly missing in person interactions and meeting new people that I can add to my network. This will have to do! 😁 Nice to e-meet you all!

We went live with Workfront last week! I was looking forward to learning as much as possible at the in person event. Will do the same virtually, but it isn't the same remotely, and will be harder to separate from work when not offsite for a week. Plus was looking forward to Florida in April!
