Re: AEM 6.5: Adding custom Factory configuration for CORS does not work anymore - Adobe Experience Manager 16-10-2020
@OlivBurHow did you fixed this problem for CORS configuration? We are facing the same issue when we add CORS config to package and deploy it again.

Re: Automating packages deployment: CRX HTTP API/OSGi Installer? - Adobe Experience Manager 19-05-2019
Hi,wenn you mean uploading directly into the /apps//install folder, then there's no real difference between the package approach and the one you describe. Because in both the JcrInstaller is going to pick up that bundle. The only difference is that you do the installation explicitly one-by-one, while the bundles installed via package manager are typically picked up all at once (because the interval between these changes is normally much lower).

Re: AEM 6.1 SP2 and using the latest HTL version? - Adobe Experience Manager 30-08-2018
Yes that's true. But I mean I would like to use the latest Features which came with the new HTL version in AEM 6.3, e.g. easy Date formatting, etc.See post here from Feike: New HTL-features in AEM6.3 - Experience Delivers Is it easy possible to use them in AEM 6.1 too?

Re: How to configure AEM for SSL only? - Adobe Experience Manager 18-04-2019
Hello,org.apache.felix.http (Apache Felix Jetty Based Http Service) seems to be deprecated [1]. The SSL settings are done through Granite SSL config com.adobe.granite.jetty.ssl.internal.GraniteSslConnectorFactory, which is why EM is not able to startup with https port. For disabling http, you can route external traffic over https via Dispatcher or create a mapping under the etc/map to rewrite all the http requests to https.[1] https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/6-4/sites/developing/using/...

Re: How to refer a sling model with in a sling servlet? - Adobe Experience Manager 27-03-2018
Thanks OlivBur for reminding me that. My servlet is already registered as resource type. I almost forgot about the getResource, my bad.

Re: Carousel is not getting rendered in edit mode - Adobe Experience Manager 18-09-2017
In Touch UI, there is an overlay wrapper layer added that is used for component editing.. Overlay has a z-index of 900 which is greater than z-index of content-frame(100).. So when you click on the arrows, you are actually clicking on the overlay wrapper and hence nothing happens.. I believe this is by design and making changes to it may have impact on edit behavior of components..

Re: AEM 6.3 Parent pom available instead of using uber-jar? - Adobe Experience Manager 04-09-2017
Thanks Feike Visser, but as I have seen so far they also use this uber-jar, see in the parent pom of the project.

Re: Why docker does not help you with AEM - Adobe Experience Manager 19-02-2018
I believe Docker will shine in AEM if we were able to host /apps, /libs and /content externally and plug them in to AEM. Currently, if you work with a TarMK and want to have another docker container with a newer version of AEM installed, you'd have to run a new instance of your dockerized AEM and install content packages on it to make sure that you're not losing your content every time you perform an upgrade.
