DTM: Target: Timeout - Dynamic Tag Management 15-10-2015
Hi - I always understood the "Timeout (ms)" Adobe Target option in DTM to be the amount of time to wait for Target to respond before bailing, however when I view the console log I see: SATELLITE: Test & Target: bailing after 1500ms on every request although the mbox has executed successfully. Moreover I have found that by reducing the default 1500ms to 500ms improves the page rendering performance. Currently this feature only appears to cause latency - so what is this option for?thanks, Richard

Re: Anyone else having problems with redirect tests? - Adobe Target 15-10-2015
Client Care couldn't help. Do Adobe intend fixing this?

Hi Nikhil, I've lost track of all of Adobe's name changes we're using the old/original version 🙂

Re: Anyone else having problems with redirect tests? - Adobe Target 15-10-2015
Hi Nikhil, Yes it's just Chrome - we've had this problem for several months now so we're using Google Experiments for redirect tests now. We understand that there will always be an element of page rendering with a redirect however it's so bad in Chrome that you can't use it as it would invalidate test results. You can see for yourself here and compare with Chrome and Firefox: http://www.avg.com/us-en/tnt-qa?q=u Richard

Anyone else having problems with redirect tests? - Adobe Target 15-10-2015
Hi - we've noticed that redirect tests no longer work properly with the Chrome browser - the latency is so bad it's unusable. We never had this problem in the past, so wondering is anyone else has this problem?thank you, Richard

Re: Target Standard - completely unusable - Adobe Target 15-10-2015
UPDATE: this has been escalated to the Adobe engineering department - so I'm hoping this will be fixed shortly.

Re: Target Standard - completely unusable - Adobe Target 15-10-2015
Hi - you can see from the attached files that I've removed a button using the editor and when published it's still there. I've used both the hide and remove option and neither work. However I've observed that this behavior is inconsistent as other buttons on the page do disappear. The button that doesn't disappear is inside an HTML table so it makes me think Standard has an issue with tables.

Target Standard - completely unusable - Adobe Target 15-10-2015
Hi - anyone else having issues with Target Standard? We spent a good amount of time implementing this and have found it completely unusable due to the amount of bugs. The 2 primary issues we have right now that is preventing us from using it are;1) The hide/remove feature doesn't work in many scenarios. For example if I want to remove a button from a page sometimes it works but many times it doesn't. Is Target Standard incompatible with certain HTML, for example tables?2) Editing tests is not po...

Re: mboxPC/pcid functionality doesn't appear to work - Adobe Target 15-10-2015
Hello - we've tried passing mboxSession through the URL and we can see the session ids are synced however it doesn't stitch together the visitor's session across browsers, therefore conversion are not recorded. We have tested this for many hours going between 2 browsers and nothing seems to work. So either there is a bug or this functionality isn't possible. Unfortunately Adobe's documentation is very poor with slightly more advanced topics so it's hard to know.
