Hi everyone,We recently implemented Adobe Analytics for a client and am
currently testing tag implementation for them. Strangely i see both vid
and fid firing for them. As far as i know , if the visitor id cookie is
rejected, the code sets a first party cookie(fallback visitor
identification method) using the site’s current domain known as the FID.
Not sure why both are firing! Any thoughts? P.S - we have implemented
visitor stitching for this client- cross device tracking.
Hey Experts!! I write to you with a specific problem that has been
taking over my mind since days now. I have tried to troubleshoot it and
look at it from various angles but i am unable to find the answer. I
know it is not right but cannot pinpoint the root of the issue. My

insight on the visit number report? What does it mean? If i am seeing
maximum conversions (success event) for a client next to visit number 1
line item , is it safe to read that as most visitors are coming for the
first time and converting? What is most unsettling to me is that this is
a university client and i cannot accept that people are just coming for
the first time on the site and paying an application fee for a college
