You  have the syntax slightly wrong. In formcalc the instance manager should be:nameOfTheThingYouAreAdding.instanceManager.addInstance()You don't need all the action builder stuff. MTremblay-Savard is correct on the count.

well you need to use " rather than ' for the presence = "hidden" line but if that isn't the issue try putting the code in a different event. What is the actual code for the condition where the page should be hidden?

it is because you are using || which means 'or' for all the conditions so when the first condition is met (null) it doesn't even look at the last one (if the box is checked). You need to use && ('and') for the last condition to make it mandatory in the if statement.

There are 2 ways you could do this. The first is just to have 3 seperate dropdown boxes for the second box and have them all hidden. The exit event of the first dropdown would then have code that would make the appropriate second box become visible, something like (in formcalc):if ($ == 1) thendropd...

There may be a better way but when I need to position things in a flowed form I use rectangles set with no border so they are invisible and put them where I need spaces.

In the prePrint event of the textboxes put (in formcalc):$.minH = "1"(change the 1 to whatever your height was for those boxes)The minH as opposed to just h means it will expand.

You can enter the code in the script editor. If you don't have it showing you can get it by pressing (on a PC) Ctrl+Shift+F5.
