Hi,Just wanted to follow up on this as I have found a solution that works. I made a new local instance of AEM 6.1, and in CMD (rather than opening the JAR directly) I navigated to the location of the JAR and ran the following command:java -Xms1024m -Xmx4096m -jar FILENAME.jarThis allocates 1GB of memory and gives it a maximum of 4GB to use. I also downloaded a free monitoring tool called VisualVM which allows me to keep an eye on the memory being allocated and used by the JAR. I then installed A...

Hi,I have one more question regarding this - do I need to explicitly call the cq.jquery files to be used on Author or are they just built into AEM anyway? For example I could use an if statement to detect Edit or Design mode. Is this necessary?ThanksTheo

Hi TheoHere you can convert scss into css....To compile scss files in your aem project use the following plugin in your ui.apps pom file. nl.geodienstencentrum.maven sass-maven-plugin 2.17 prepare-package update-stylesheets ${project.parent.basedir}/ui.apps/src/main/content/jcr_root/etc/clientlibs/YOUR-PROJECT/scss ${project.parent.basedir}/ui.apps/src/main/content/jcr_root/etc/clientlibs/YOUR-PROJECT/css Make sure you change path according to your project. Thanks,Vamsi

Hi,I think that you first need to split the complete area of website performance optimization into 3 distinct areas:* Server side optimization: Here you optimize the time the requests required to be responded on the server. That's something which can be found in AEM in the request.log, but also in the access.log of webservers etc (let's ignore the fact, that the dispatcher can sit on a different machine and there is network between dispatcher and AEM).* The network aspect: everything between ser...
