Analysis Workspace: Ability to Add Logos and Other Images to Projects jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
We work with a lot of different brands at my company (B2B) and we use Adobe to analyze both online and offline data for those partners. We routinely send reports and analyses to our partners and it would be extremely helpful if we were able to create customized cover letters with our reports within the Workspace tool. These introductions can of course use the 'text box' option in the tool but there is no current way to add any images or logos to said cover letter.I think this could help add an a...

Re: Time Between Events Calculation Ability jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
The Time between Events isn’t an absolute number, it’s only available in Reports and it comes with a time dimension breakout (<1min, 1-5min, etc.)The Workspace version uses ‘time on site’ metric, which isn’t the same thing

Re: Time Between Events Calculation Ability jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
Similar yes, but ‘Time Prior to Event’ still sets your ‘start time’ as the start of the visit. I was thinking of a solution that allows us to pick the start time (say they started their visit OR they entered the funnel/cart) as well as a end time (say they finished the cart or added another item to the cart).

Re: Workspace 'bottom 10' list? jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
Thomas - thank you so much. I tried that same solution but set the <150 to 0 which means my sort logic didn't work. Setting the <150 to 999B would solve my problem, and I understand the limitation you referenced. for my purpose where I'm only looking to provide a 'snapshot' of the worst performing items, your idea will work.Again, thanks so much!

Workspace 'bottom 10' list? jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
In Analysis Workspace I understand you can sort table based on the metrics value. So creating a top 10 list is as simple as sorting the metric descending and then limiting the number of visible rows to 10.but what about a bottom 10 list?the issue i'm running into is my dimension breakdown has 1800 unique values and when I sort the metric ascending, I get several rows (almost 200) that don't have adequate sample sizes. Meaning they only have 1 visit which is why they are at the bottom of the list....

Analysis Workspace: Include 'Project End Day' in Custom Time Periods jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
Currently in Workspace i'm using Custom Time Periods to compare a rolling 4 weeks - 2 weeks vs. 2 weeks. The original goal of the report was to monitoring things every day measuring and alerting for significant drops. The problem is I can't use the same report to check 'historical' time periods - meaning if I change the project date range nothing updates because the Custom Time Periods are all based on 'current day' (i.e. current day minus 28 days to current day minus 15 days). it would great if ...

Re: Sort Reports by Variable/Pagename not just Events/Metrics columns jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
I'm pretty sure you can do this today if you manually select which values you have in the report. Meaning if you pull in 'Mobile Device Type' you won't be able to sort it. However if you just pulled in Other, Mobile Phone, Tablet you can sort it. Not sure if that helps with your uses case, but thought I'd mention it.

Analysis Workspace - Forecast vs. Actual Comparison jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
A lot of times we as analyst are asked to calculate an incremental value of a change to a user experience. I know Adobe has Target which is kind of this ideas bread and butter but I think it would be amazing if Workspace could support the following idea for programs that we don't run through Targeta comparison of Actual data to a projected forecast of data based on an inflection point.I'm thinking a comparison tool that would allow an analyst to selected- metric - event or calculated metric- the...

Analysis Workspace - Add Trend Line to Day Line Chart jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
First a simple idea:We have a relative volatile business where weekdays volumes are dramatically higher than weekends and the daytime is dramatically higher than the night time As such when we generate a daily line chart we have a chart that looks like super fast heart beat with lots of peaks and valleys. We were thinking that it would be great if we could add a 'trend line' to the chart and include the 'equation' for that trend line on the chart. Very similar to how Excel does it.more sophistica...

Re: Workspace: Set Graph/Chart Scale Max & Min jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
BrandonI think the confusion came by your original email asking if I wanted to ‘exclude outliers’. In my mind, it made me wonder - how would Adobe define an outlier? My original ideas was to allow me to set my own range for the y-axis, implying that I as analyst wanted to have more control of my graph than Adobe’s AI could provide automatically. My concern about your comment below regarding ‘deselect cells’, is many times I don’t select cells at all I just graph the entire data table. So moving th...

Re: Workspace: Set Graph/Chart Scale Max & Min jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
Outlier suppression is the main motivation and is what sparked my ideaBut we need this to also work if we turn off ‘anomaly detection’, so how would we detect outliers if the anomaly detection feature is not visible on the graph?Hope that makes sense

Workspace: Set Graph/Chart Scale Max & Min jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
Right now in Workspace, the range of the scale for the line & bar charts is set by the tool automatically and is based on the data set being presented. While most of the time this is fine however when it comes to supporting metrics that have high occurrences of major outliers (like page load time) or high amount of volatility , the scale can get 'messed up' if a single outlier data point comes in. it would be preferred if we were able to 'overwrite' the automatic scale to whatever range we as bu...

Analysis Workspace: Data values shown in graphs jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
Analysis workspace does a great job showing you the value of a bar or a line data point when you hover over them. However when you export the project to a PDF, that information gets lost to the scale on the side of the graph.it would be great if we could display the data points on top of the bars or next to the link data points. having the option to display all data points or just the min/max so the user's don't have to hover them and so they get printed to the PDF would be enourmously helpful a...

Analysis Workspace: Wrap Column Headers, if needed jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
I tend to use the analysis workspace freeform table a lot to organize my segments and metrics in a single table, a single version of the truth if you will.however I find it difficult to share these tables via email / slack because one the table gets more than 10 or so columns the column names get cut off.my primary freeform table that I'm socializing right now with internal stakeholders has 23 columnsso the question is what can be done to wrap the text within these columns headers?I would like t...

Processing Rules: Add Events to the line item conditions jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
With the release of Processing Rules where all Admins have the ability to leverage processing rules to increase their data accuracy and completeness, it would extremely helpful if we added Events to the line item conditions.Use Case - We currently have a DTM Javascript heavy based implementation of Adobe Analytics and have been working with our IT department to reduce the size of both the JS files (DTM's satelliteLib and AA's s_code) as well as reduce the size of the client side beacon calls / h...

Re: Cache buster on self host DTM library jeremyl59043873 - Dynamic Tag Management
Hello - we've been using the file share FTP solution for almost 3 years without issue (caching worked just fine). I've been able to verify that our non-aws deployment servers are NOT cache busting.it wasn't until we started moving towards AWS that we started to experience this issue of cache busting. So it seem pretty clear the issue is AWS related.I appreciate your time, and I consider this question answered. Thanks so much

Copy Workspace Visuals Across Projects jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
We have created a lot of workspace projects to date and we continue to build more and more. Having the ability to copy workspace visuals/freeforms from project to project would allow us to speed up our development and make our team more efficient. Similar to how Excel, it would great to add a 'right click' option to the visual header and see an option for 'duplicate visual in another project'once selected a list of projects could come up to be selected and then the user could select 'copy to top...

Re: Time Between Events Calculation Ability jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
Thanks, one of the reason I was thinking of the ‘flexible solution’, where the end user could just pick the two events – is to support other cases. For example, we use a 3rd party payment processing company (as well as paypal and amazon payments) and out IT team would love to know how long it takes to transition from the ‘click of a place order’ button to the ‘thank you page’. a more micro example, but when site performance is so tightly tied to consumer satisfaction something like this would be...

Time Between Events Calculation Ability jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
With the recent expansion of the Event variable in Adobe Analytics, to 1000, events are becoming more and more common. In fact on our site we have events for pretty much every page of the user experience. As such we would like to offer an idea for a new capability in Adobe Analytics; Time Between Events.I know Adobe has 'time prior to event' capability, but that is based on the visit start time. So while I can see how long it takes convert from when the user started their visit, I can't currently...

Re: Cache buster on self host DTM library jeremyl59043873 - Dynamic Tag Management
I have had my front end dev team review the need to 'cache' the adobe file and upon their initial review they are scratching their heads as to why this random number is being set. So it's not something they are doing on purpose.we're loading the DTM file into a single page app (from our server) and we're not able to 'embed' them because that would require us to embed both Sit and Prod versions of the DTM JS file into the HTML given our deployment processes. Would this be a potential root cause o...

Re: Issues with Non-Sequential HTML script in Event Based Rule jeremyl59043873 - Dynamic Tag Management
Hi margaretc50536749Based on what I've seen in your description, my theory is that Event Based Rules, which uses Adobe's s.tl() function doesn't support the capturing of the pageName variable like Page Load Rules do. You might have to set a separate variable in your Page Load Rule and then have the Event Based Rule pull that separate variable. Hope that helps generate some additional ideas on how to resolve your issue.

Re: DTM pixel audit to improve page performance jeremyl59043873 - Dynamic Tag Management
Hello roberty10279373one solution that might work is to leverage the browser's performance.getEntries function. This will allow you access all the network calls that are being called by the browser - Adobe DTM being one of them & Adobe Analytics S_Code being another one.in these details you will see speed and file size information so you can evaluate how long it takes a specific resource to load (called duration) and how long into the total loading process it took this one resource to complete (...

Column Cumulative Sum Function jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
We recently attempted to use the Cumulative Sum function in Adobe and discovered it basically doesn't work.the idea would be update the Cumulative Sum function to dynamically adjust to the report that end user is reporting.so if the dimension in the table are based on Day, then the cumulative function would just sum what is in the table. Similarly to how the Column Sum function works.the order should should adjust for however the table is sorted - so if we sort by day, then the Column Cumulative...

Analysis Workspace: Refresh a single Chart/Free Form Table, not the entire projects jeremyl59043873 - Adobe Analytics
I've been working with Workspace for a while and admittedly some of my projects have grown pretty large. As such, as I work on them / update them per our business needs it would extremely helpful if we had the option to refresh a single chart/table, in addition to being able to refresh the entire project. I was thinking we could add that feature to the 'right click' menu of portlet, same menu that shows 'duplicate visualization'. Please advise on if this is something that is already on the produ...
