We have plans to bring both features that you mention to Workspace soon. You can follow along on on the two features here:- "correlation" (table builder) functionality: Workspace Table Builder - 50K downloads: Allow for more than 400 rows of data in Analytics Workspace

Re: Time Segments & Derived Metrics

As for the January Release you can now use date ranges in segments including rolling date ranges. This should let you do what you are looking for. Just create a segment for previous month or previous year and add it to the derived metric. Also as a shortcut in Analysis Workspace you right click on any metric column and add a time comparison column. This will let you do the same thing as well. This doesn't totally solve your use case becuase it isn't based of off the report date but it is based o...

It would be great to have the option for eVars to persist across devices. Obviously it would require a Marketing Cloud ID or VisitorID to work, but having that could open much more accurate reporting. This could solve the Campaign Stacking issue where it's just for a given browser because it uses cookies. Sharing eVars across devices would even allow you to do neat things like Device Stacking. UPDATE: I understand why this was moved from a standalone post to this thread, but I'm not sure that Ma...

Hi Michael,There is additional Adobe data logic that goes into the Time Spent metric, which to my understanding makes it impossible to calculate w/ other standard metricsA good review of the time spent metric can be found on the help site:http://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/reference/metrics_time_spent.htmlhttp://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/reference/metrics_ts_page_calculation.htmlBest,Brian

I'm missing this feature too. It would allow us to build some very advanced stuff using calculated metrics to build statistic Models.

With the latest release of Report and Analytics all calculated metrics are global. Meaning you can use a calculated metric that you create from one report suite in another. All you have to do is uncheck the report suite filter in the metrics selector to see all metrics from a report suite.

Can this be an overlay or popup. It is frustrating having to wait for a new HTML page to load any time you want to edit a segment. I would expect similar behavior to Ad Hoc/Discover.

Reports & Analytics Default Metrics
Avatar

Currently you have to set default metric report by report and report suite by report suite. This is an issue for us given we manage a ton (150+ and counting) of report suites. We are currently leveraging Dr. Teeth (via Client Care) to copy over our default metrics when we first set up an RSID which has been a huge time saver. However, this option does not help us when we introduct a new global metric that we want to make a default metric. So it would be great to have the ability to:1. Manage def...

Yes this is quite obnoxious. I noticed the globally selected reportsuite only refreshes the reportlets if you were already in the dashboard... say you have a dashboard that you created while being in reportsuite A...but want to open the dashboard while you were already in report suite B, if you do this it will show data for A, even though you are in B. To have reportlets refrsh to the suite you want to, you have to do one of two things: 1) First open the dashbaord, then select a global suite.2) ...

The ability to compare segments in all standard Reports & Analytics reports? i.e. Daily Return Visits does not allow comparison of segments. Thanks!

I manage calculated metrics for over 200 report suites. Because there are so many report suites, it takes forever (5+ minutes) to enter the caclulated metrics section with the admin panel and then another 5+ minutes to save a new metric. It would be great if this process could be sped up.

Dashboard, Applied Segments, & Viewing other Report Suites
Avatar

Current Situation:The ability to apply segments to a dashboard currently exists. This is a great feature! Problem:If you switch from one report suite to another while viewing a dashboard containing segments, all applied segments in the dashboard will disappear. This makes it impossible to create a shared dashboards with segments. (The obvious caveat is here is that segments you would like to apply across report suites are applicable and have been shared - which mine are.) This problem causes me ...

Copying Default Metrics We have 100+ rsid's and we are moving toward 1,000s. We have a very robust configuration and like to set up each report with default metrics. It would be great to be able to copy default metrics from 1 report suite to the next. This is currently not available when copying rsid settings. Defaulting to Default Metrics As it currently stands, the metrics selected for a report will follow you as you navigate to new reports. This is both a blessing and curse. It would be great...
