Creating buffers is something that I've found pretty useful in Tableau
to keep visualization lines clean. Agree that it would be great if the
size of the table/visualization/menu boxes in Analysis Workspace could
be customized by the user.
Would it be possible to see a tabular view of the 'Flow' Visualization
in Workspace, similar to the old 'Next Page' and 'Previous Page'
reports? The visualization looks great and is brilliant for dynamic
investigation and deepdive, but a table would be useful for an
at-a-glance view and easy comparison of the top previous and next pages.
I love being able to edit labels in my Workspace vizualisations, however
it would be great if they could be locked or fixed to what you want them
to say, like the data source can be where you select the padlock. For
example in a Workspace I have a line graph with 3 lines, I have labelled
them 'This Week', 'Last Week' and 'Last Year'. I have then used the
Panel Dropdown feature to allow my stakeholders to select the page they
want to see data for. However when you select a new page it returns the
When dropping an element into 'Drop a Segment Here (or any other
component)' in a Workspace panel, it automatically creates the
segment/filter at a hit level. Could there be an option or pop up that
asks you to select Hit, Visit or Visitor? Just to remove the step of
then having to go in and edit, if you could configure it as you go I
think would be more user friendly for my non-analyst stakeholders that
i'm trying to migrate into Workspace.
I've been building some Funnel Vizualizations in Workspace, and clicked
the "x" to get rid of the 'All Visits' summary at the top. However when
I save the Workspace and then close and re-open, the summary number has
returned. I want to get rid of it permanently because its not relevant
to the funnel and I don't want it to be mis-interpreted by users.
