Re: Why is Google.com listed as Other Websites and Search in Referral Types Report? - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi Walter,As per http://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/reference/index.html#Referrer_Type_Report"Search Engine: Search engine referrers are recorded when visitors use a search engine to access your site. The referring value must be considered by Adobe to be a search engine, and cannot be a subdomain that is not considered a search engine (e.g. mail.google.com is not a search engine since that's their Gmail domain)."So Google is listed under other website means that referrer might not be co...

Re: Search Visitors | Data Validation Question - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi Walter,Because of De-duplication of the UV. There will be visitors who will be using different search engines to reach your websites. So in Search engines report they will shows as different UV under different line items ( for e.g. Google and Bing) but when it comes to the referrer type reports it will de-duplicate the same visitor from the total who is using different search engines to reach you. Let me know if it helps you. You can mark it as closed if it solves your query. ThanksAkhil

Re: How can I report on subdomains? - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi Walter, The referrer reports are based on the internal URL filters. So if you have put your domain in the list mywebsie.com, all the subdomains will be considered as internal and will be stripped out of the referrer reports. however I believe if you only listed a subdomain subdomain.mywesite.com, only this subdomain will be considered as internal and all the other subdomains will be under referrer. You might want to use a custom prop to capture internal referrer. Best regards.Alexis Cazes

Re: Data Validation | Why do I see paid search in the natural search report - Adobe Analytics 15-10-2015
Hi Walter, It seems the sc_channel is an eVar, eVar45 to be exact. What might happen is that the value in the eVar persist when the customer comes via Natural Search. So the scenario would be :Paid search >> eVar45 set to paidThe customer comes back via Natural search and the value that persist in the eVar in paid search.I hope it helps you.Best regards. Alexis
