In LCCS service,it provide a service that called "Failover" automatically, and how does it work?if in a room ,a stream publisher is using "Multicast",but a new client join in,and the new client does not support "P2P",then LCCS will Failover automatically.is that means, ALL clients those are in the same room will be failover to "hup and spoke" mode?thanks adobebest wishes

If I use "Multicast" in "LCCS" 1. if i have a room, and has one stream publisher, and there are 3000 subscribers. and i suppose that 3000 subscribers are in "P2P" mode normally.so many subscribers. Is this feasible?2 if my web site is in china, and all clients are in china too. then ,if a lots of clients can't use "P2P", are those clients connect to "LCCS" server( in US) to play the stream? if it "yes",the distance i think is too far away, and the delay will be too hight....Some body give me an answe...

THanks a lot ,and Nigel,Whether the "LCCS" server can support each group that has 5000 participants ? my web site has a "Live Channel" that allows clients to use camera to publish a video stream to our server, and currently ,some popular publishers, each has about 3000-5000 subscribers,so ,if we change to use "LCCS" service, whether it is appropriate?

The "LCCS" would make a "failover" if one client can't use P2P to connect to another client, then the "LCCS" will let the client turn to "hub-and-spoke" mode ,and it will be produced consumption.Whether my understanding is correct? If the answer is "yes", Then whether the stream publisher is always publish the stream to the LCCS server? so, once the client can't use P2P, then the client would connect to the LCCS server?and it will produced consumption?Hope adobe give an answer, thank you very much....

Nigel,Thanks a lot.right now i am more clearly.but i still have some problems:The current situation is My Company is a videos share website(just like "youtube"),so "Large-scale Live broadcasts" and “videos on demand” are the most concerned for us. 1 "Large-scale Live broadcasts" ,currently we are using fmle + fms ,but we are considering to use p2p for more Cost-effective.whether fms is more suitable for us? 2 "videos on demand",we are using apache(http)+CDN,also we are considering to try to use ...

Whether The LCCS server side is build on FMS?【Yes,at least has use fms】3. whether the lccs allow developers to edit actionscript which in serverside ?【no】4. if client don't have UDP-enabled,LCCS fall back to RTMP/RTMPS/RTMPT Automatically。 【RTMP】5. such as chatroom, whether chat data is saved in serverside? 【No】6. whether i am able to use fms4 to achieve all functions which in LCCS?【Yes,almost】best wishes!
