Hope this might help someone looking for solution. This has worked for me:var pageLang = new java.util.Locale(currentPage.getLanguage(false).getLanguage());var resourceBundle = request.getResourceBundle(pageLang);var i18n = new com.day.cq.i18n.I18n(resourceBundle); i18n.get("String that needs to be translated")

The JSP is outside the repository. We connect to the form from outside AEM. We register for the submit events and talk to guidebridge. We pass Granite into the JS on the JSP.

Hi joell91868939,Can you use the guideBridge API (getDataXML[0]) to verify the XML that is being posted? This XML should not have the ns2 namespace.[0] Adaptive Forms Class: GuideBridge

Hi,Have you seen this:https://helpx.adobe.com/aem-forms/6/creating-forms-repeatable-sections.html#UsingrepeatsettingsofanXMLSchemaXSDbrI used the XSD sample from the above page on a new form, copied over the fields from the data model sidebar, and changed the Sample panel to have an accordion layout (so that it adds the repeatable panel controls automatically) and added a submit button.Submitting creates xml like this:... Enter Name ...Hopefully you can compare the XSD in the sample with th...

We solved this ourselves.Basically you need to:1. Create js specifically for validation. Similar to: var saveAndAddClickHandler = function(param) { //do something } 2. Now "saveAndClickHandler" is available as a drag and drop function for your button function list.Joel

Posting for future reference. I faced same issue but when I hard reload my form editor, function appears. Also, if I change something in custom JS, function will disappear from dropdown. I again hard reload and it will show.

Solved it. Used -debug [port] when starting the quickstart. I was using the traditional JVM debug approach, which opens a port on the launcher, no the actual AEM VM

We have a separate server that does more complex validation. The post.POST.jsp is essentially a middle man and PDF generator.

I would suggest you make a small modification to the stop.bat file so that it removes the conf/cq.pid even on a successful ERRORLEVEL return code. Then, have your backup script detect the presence of conf/cq.pid (is removed) before starting the backup function using whatever method you are using. Put a timer loop in the backup script detection of the cq.pid file and fail out after some unusual amount of time (say 10-15 minutes) so that if the cq.pid file is never removed you get some message/err...

Figured it out. I was using an XSD based form. Switched to a plain adaptive form and it's all working now.-Joel

Hi, We are learning AEM with quickstart on Windows now. We are investigating tomcat with SQL Server (relational) back-end.We found issues recently with power outages causing the translator to fail (new french translations didn't make it to the french UI).I entered a ticket, and was told that we should prepare a backup and recovery strategy, because power outages will cause issues with storage.I was kind of hoping JCR would handle power outages better than that, and all transactions would be atom...

Question on the 3rd option mentioned in the response above>>>>For passing messages to the client based on custom validations done on the server, you need to forward the request back with the required data. If you need to leverage the client side validation on the server, you can enable the server side validation option from Adaptive Form Container Dialog. If your validations are custom, then you can do something like this in your custom Submit action which you had created, ...// Forward the requ...
