Hi Nick, Thanks for the tip, however I am looking to roll my dates backward. For example if my rolling date is 11/1 I would like for my dates to roll back from 11/1. so I can see a trended view of 11/1,10/31,10/29...etcs.. I hope that made sense. Lucy

It would also be very helpful if the timeframes are more customizable than just day, week, month. We have products that have an average usage cycle of two or three weeks, and it would be very helpful to be able to display retention calculated based on those timeframes as well.

This looks correct. Our internal search terms report looks very similar. This just means that of all the occurrences on your site (which is pretty much every page view and hit combined) a decent percentage of them happened before anything had been searched. In addition to recording internal search terms, are you setting a custom event when the internal search term is recorded? I would use that event instead of occurrences in this report. As long as there is an internal search term for each time ...

I'm afraid that this capability isn't directly available in Analytics. Nick's workaround might be a viable solution. In the meantime, I'd recommend upvoting this idea: Dimension Segments

In your paid social rule you have the logic set to look for either 1) the NYCPS_ CID, or 2) the referring domain of Facebook. This 2nd condition will falsely label almost all of your organic traffic from facebook as Paid Social. That should be the logic that is found in your Organic Social rules instead of your Paid Social rules. You should only need the first set of logic that looks for NYCPS_.

I double-check and the segment in the top half of the image is a HIT segment, using the same page dimension and values as the specified dimension on the lower half. You can see that the channel breakouts are treated differently:

Hi Waqas, thanks for your answer.I already looked at the page depth, and as some of the pages had pretty high values there I got the idea to investigate the visit depth in detail. Unfortunately neither the page (or hit) depth nor the visit depth can be applied on only a part of my report suite (a segment). But it was a interesting hint.A.

Hi, I have a similar question. I want to see how many unique products were ordered. Order 1: 1x Product A 1x Product BOrder 2: 2x Product AThe answer to "How many unique products were ordered?" should be 2. I only have a metric for the total product quantity ordered which would tell me that 4 products were ordered (for the example).Thank you in advance.Patrick

We're looking at some direct contradictions here:Social network marketing channel is apparently set up correctly, but it isn't collecting any data. If it was set up correctly, it would be collecting data. The only exception to that is that there aren't any social media referral traffic, however, it is being insisted that there is indeed social media referral traffic coming in.Something isn't working correctly, but at this point it is literally impossible to troubleshoot without gaining access to ...

The main difference that you will see between these two reports is that the default paid search value will only persist for the length of the visit, while a first touch attribution value will persist until it is set to expire (this could be 1 day, 3 months, 1 year, etc... )

Dear Florian,Implementation on Tracking Code was okay. But usually for s.campaign we use s.getvalonce plugin to capture the values so that the reloads, back & forth navigation will not be counted as click-throughs. If possible, try to implement the same as that was the best practice.Regarding your Marketing Channel Classification, the gap in grouping might be due to rules you have set. Can you follow this thread : Add Paid/Natural Search to Marketing Channel Report? and verify your Marketing Cha...

Further to this question: If I want to see the user activity by a set of tracking codes and create the segment using HIT containers (conaints all those specific tracking codes), would it return the correct conversions. Tracking code instances would be fine as it is HIT based segment but if user went to other pages, and downloaded some assets, filled out forms, will those conversions from other pages be considered in this HIT based segment.Regards,Kamal
