@Jon_Tehero thanks for hosting this. We've recently rolled out product recommendations with the "Recommended for you" algorithm, but currently this algorithm only takes into account customer PDP visits as it relies on an entity ID. Is it possible to improve the products recommended by taking into account any brand pages that the customer has visited - by hooking into the URL for instance?

Decibel Insight - Test variants appear broken in session replays using Target integration

We are using the Adobe Target integration with Decibel Insight to get additional information on the performance of our AB tests. Primarily by using the Heatmap and Session Replay functionality. When we view session replays of Adobe Target test variants in Decibel Insight the pages appear broken - as if the CSS is not rendering correctly. This is only an issue in the session replay, and not a Live issue. I was wondering if anyone had encountered this, and knew of a way to solve (I've also raised ...

Test my campaigns as if I'm a user coming from a different zip code

If you set up an audience based on a zip code, it is not currently possibly to test this without physically being in an eligible zip code.Could the mboxOverride.browserIp url parameter e.g. ?mboxOverride.browserIp=60.234.0.39 be extended to work with zip codes as well.

Once we have found a winning A/B test, we serve it to 100% of visitors whilst the functionality is built into our platform. Tests that are created in the Form-based editor however do not appear together (only one form-based test can appear on any one page). This forces us to create all of our tests in the VEC, which does allow multiple tests to appear on a single page. Unfortunately the VEC takes a long time to load and often crashes when a lot of custom code it used.Could multiple campaigns cre...

Hi Mike,Just to clarify, the Editor role cannot currently stop an activity? Not quite - it would be useful to have a role that allows users to Create, Edit and Stop an activity, but not Start any activity. This would allow us to give users in different time zones the ability to pause activities in case any problems arise out of the core optimisation team hours, whilst ensuring there is no risk of unapproved Activities going Live. Thanks,Chris

Currently there are three user roles available in Adobe Target (see below)It would be useful is to have a fourth, essentially Editor+ to allow users to create, edit and stop activities - but not activate new ones. This would allow us to give more people such as our IT support function, or users in different time zones access to pause activities in case of problems that may arise out of the optimisation team hours, it would also ensure new users can get to grips with the platform, but can't inadve...

I was recently faced with the challenge of creating an audience consisting of customers who live in particular zip codes. The list of zip codes that I had only include the first 3 digits however. The closest you can get to this in the current system is with a "contains" rule. See attached screen-shot below. However this rule could end up including other zip codes that end in those last three digits. in this instance I had to list every single possible post code. Would it be possible to create a n...

Hello,I would like to set up an audience to include a number of zip codes, however the list of zip codes that I have only include the first 3 digits. Is there any way to achieve this in Target without having to find every possible zip code combination?I know you can add a Geo rule to 'contain' a set of characters, but these wouldn't necessarily be the first 3.Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks,Chris

Hi Russ,Thank you for the quick reply. Your eVar option sounds ideal, however I haven't used eVars before. I've relied on the existing Analytics metrics, or tracked clicks in Adobe Target.Forgive my ignorance, are eVars something that can be set up in Target - or do they need to be implemented via Analytics first and triggered via Target? Is it possible to explain how to set one up, or is there an article you're aware of that explains how to set one up?Thanks,Chris

Hello,As part of a series of tests on the website navigation, I plan to add an entirely new drop-down menu with the goal of better surfacing some useful, but relatively hidden content. I would like to add click-tracking to each of the new links in the navigation to determine which one is used most frequently. When using A4T, it only appears possible to add one click-track event as a goal metric. I want to be able to capture clicks for each of the different navigation links, and ideally be able to...

I've solved my own question. After creating my test, I applied the Audience in the 'Targeting' section. But I'd also set up an 'Activity-Only Audience'/'Audience refinement' on the 'Experiences' section. It seems this one overrides the Audience set in Targeting,Hope that helps - please someone correct me if I've misunderstood. I'm no longer seeing the activity on any mobile device

Hi all,I'm setting up a test designed for Tablet and Desktop only.I've created a new audience with the rules:Mobile: Screen Width (px) is greater than 767 OR Mobile: is not Mobile Phone I've applied this audience to the test, but when I view the test using the QA link on a mobile phone - or emulated browser, the test still fires. Has anyone else come across this before, or have any suggestions to what I may be doing wrong? Thanks,Chris
