Re: "This form cannot be edited in Adobe Acrobat DC. Please use Adobe LiveCycle Designer to edit this form." try67 - Adobe LiveCycle
You're taking a very big risk there. Preview might allow you to do that, but it will also corrupt your form in various ways. It's very likely that if you submit such a form to the IRS it will be rejected out of hand.

Re: Purchase LiveCycle ES4 try67 - Adobe LiveCycle
Find an old copy of Acrobat Pro that has LCD bundled with it is the only option, I believe.

Yes, it would have been, actually. The LCD forms are completely different to the normal PDF files and you can't use the same "engine" to generate both of them. I do believe that they should not have been called PDF files, though, as they are not really that at all.

Just don't try to submit it digitally, as it will probably get rejected...

Re: Adobe LC ES4: How to add sequence number to every copy printed label (it's possible?)? try67 - Adobe LiveCycle
I'm moving your question to the LiveCycle Designer forum, but I think that unless you do a separate print command for each copy it's not possible. At least, that's how it is in Acrobat forms...

Re: Adapting Lifecycle forms? try67 - Adobe LiveCycle
I don't think so, but you should ask here: LiveCycle Designer .You will probably need to either purchase a full license for LiveCycle Designer, or to convert the forms to Acrobat forms, so you could edit them in Acrobat.

Re: PDF form placeholder text is gray and becomes black when I type in the box on computer screen and it works well but it remains gray on mobile screen try67 - Adobe LiveCycle
It's most likely done with a script, and that script probably doesn't work on mobile devices. We can't really help you with that.

Re: form logic calculation try67 - Adobe LiveCycle
That is not how you access fields' values. Read the last part of the second tutorial I linked to.Also, it's not how you write the JavaScript code. JS is case-sensitive. So you have to use "if", not "IF", and "else", not "ELSE", etc.
