custom form checkbox fields represented in a chart - Workfront 15-07-2016
On our custom form, we have checkbox field that list all deliverables. I realized that Workfront won't let you simply group checkbox fields unless you do it through textmode which I've done and had grouped the stuff I need in the detail screen. Except I want to go further and make a chart of it. What I'm getting though is just one No Value summary instead of what's grouped in the detail screen. Maybe my textmode grouping is incorrect or checkbox chart is just not possible? group.0.linkedname=dir...

Re: # of projects for task users - Workfront 15-07-2016
Thanks for trying Eric. I just thought that there is a way to do it in Workfront so I can have it as part of a dashboard rather than having to export stuff to excel. I've also been looking into the community on how to get only unique items to report and I've seen other post about it not being available. I guess it's time to send this in as a feature request.

# of projects for task users - Workfront 13-07-2016
Hello. I want to find out how many projects each user in the system have worked on within certain date parameters. I've tried using a project report but I am only able to get groupings done by Sponsor or Owner. I've also tried to use a task report but since there are many tasks per user in each project and I cannot make project name to be "unique only" in the report, I'm not getting the numbers I need. Anybody with an idea how to do this?

Re: Seeing the Wood for the Trees - Workfront 20-06-2016
That works great! I never thought of just going and trying that out. I've often have ideas for Project and Task dashboards but had balked at having the users be prompted to generate the report. Thanks!

Re: Seeing the Wood for the Trees - Workfront 20-06-2016
I like the idea of a task dashboard which I assume would be within the task screen. I'm able to create the report that see all the parent tasks but this report will pull all the tasks in all projects. Is there a way to do it in the report that self identifies the project and the task, something similar like $$USER.ID but for tasks?

Re: Custom Forms - Organization and Naming Convention - Workfront 14-06-2016
Hello - there's no folder options but there's the views and groupings. You can "categorize" things by putting in specific wording in the description and then group it by the description then they sort of feel like they're contained in folders. Cheers.

Re: Rounding up numbers in a custom form - Workfront 10-06-2016
Strange. The format on my custom form was Number. Something you might want to check. One other thing that was happening for me is if you did put in the custom form in the project, you have to delete the form on the project and then re-add it to make sure it calculates properly.
