there is no OOTB filed predicate to cater this use case offered by Assets Metadata Schema Editor. There is text area componen[0] offered by the Granite's platform which can be used to add a custom field predicate. All field predicates at Metadata Schema Editor are the wrapper of Granite platform's form elements, be it textfield, sectionheader, dropdown etc. Moreover [0] takes rows, cols and max-length as an input parameter to control the textarea height/width on rendering, these configurations sh...

I am logged in a Admin and running in to this error every time I try to preview or save to our custom Admin Asset Search Rail (Tools>General>Search forms). Unfortunately, I cannot find information or help specific to this error. Details:Stage Author Environment 6.4.1 (AMS)User: AdminCurrent state:The search rail has group predicates so that our various businesses can have a 'unique set of facets' that suits their needs in AEM Asset and their metadata schema. The filter rail is functional for all...

GL369 - As of 6.3, Permissions for asset reports were managed under [1]. By default, dam-users and mp-contributers were the only 2 groups that were denied the permissions to view asset reports.Starting 6.4, report functionality has been moved to [2]. So, you can manage permissions for Asset Reports by allowing or denying permission to the path at [2][1] /libs/dam/gui/content/nav/tools/assets/assetreports/rep:policy/deny[2] /libs/dam/gui/content/reports

I would open CRXDE Lite and see the permissions for these 2 groups specifically if the groups have read permission to /home folder.

Thank you, one more question - I looked in CRX at a PDF and see the UUID, but I didn't see the sub-asset nodes - are they in a different location?

What is the process (or is there one) to add/modify metadata/tags on a PDF sub-assets? We want to have the metadata values apply to all or some of the sub assets.

One way to proceed here is to look at this blog: Get the rendered HTML for an AEM resource, component or page - Adobe Experience Manager | AEM/CQ | Apache Sling So you can read the HTML (as shown here) and use then a lib like PDFBOX to generate the PDF

Yes, it is a bug, we are able to reproduce this at our end. Only first 20 assets are loaded in first time.

There is no such workflow OOTB. Could have been copied from DAM Update asset. You can check each workflow step and compare. Thanks,Gaurav

After reading this discussion, I am still not clear if this question was answered: How can I configure my user permissions so that other users don't see all collections but a user can create a collection? In our situation, we are multi-tenant 6.4.1 - and currently all (non-private) collections new and existing are visible to all AEM authors. We want to setup permissions so that only people of a particular group, or business unit can see new and existing within their respective teams, but not all ...

Hi, You can find folder settings documentation at https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-2/author/assets/managing-assets-touch-ui/private-folder.htmlI have updated documentation team to add more details regarding roles and permissions in folder settings documentation. However, you can find detailed documentation for user and groups permissions at https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-2/administer/security/user-group-ac-admin.html
