Re: "submit by e-mail" does not work properly - Adobe LiveCycle 26-10-2010
Quite frankly, Patrick, I gave up. Nobody seemed to have an answer, and I don't even remember all the circumstances. You'll note that post is over a year old. I stopped using LiveCycle entirely.

Re: Submit by email not working - Adobe LiveCycle 19-07-2009
That didn't work, either. I got an error message saying (a) I couldn't save the data I entered in the form (another gripe I have with LiveCycle), and (b) it would only send the data, not the whole form. When I clicked Okay, I got another error message: "This operation is not permitted."Thanks for trying, though.Rontiara

It isn't just Thunderbird. I have customers who use other e-mail clients and they had the same problem.

Re: Form I designed locked to editing - Adobe LiveCycle 09-07-2009
There is only one page in the form. I started with one of the Adobe sample forms and altered it for my purposes, so the basic form was already set up. I'm attaching a screen shot as well as the form itself; it's not password protected.I notice the entire hierarchy doesn't show in the screen shot, but I thought this would give you an idea. Let me know if you need the rest.I got no warning at all when it switched. I was actually in the document in LiveCycle when it happened. I had just finished se...

Form I designed locked to editing - Adobe LiveCycle 08-07-2009
I've designed a completeable pdf information sheet in LiveCycle CS4. I got it pretty much complete, set my tab order -- and suddenly everything in the Hierarchy is greyed out and I can't change anything on the form. What did I do or click to make that happen, and how can I undo it?I've tried locking and unlocking (that needs to be made less confusing, BTW) everything, but nothing I do helps. Nor does getting out of the program and coming back in.Thanks very much....

Re: Submit by email not working - Adobe LiveCycle 08-07-2009
Greetings, Paul....I've had the same problem. I'm using Thunderbird, which is set as my default e-mail client. But I can't make the "submit by e-mail" button work, either. If I change my default e-mail to Outlook Express, it seems to open Outlook Express without problem -- but I don't have my e-mail account set up in Outlook -- and I've had the same complaint from others who have other e-mail clients than the Microsoft products.I've posted this request before, but never received an answer. This ...

Re: "submit by e-mail" does not work properly - Adobe LiveCycle 02-07-2009
I'm having the same problem everyone else is. I'm using Mozilla Thunderbird as my e-mail client, and when I click on "submit" in a form I created in Live Cycle, I get a dialog box asking me whether I'm using an e-mail program on my local computer, or web mail. No matter which option I choose, nothing happens. I get the same results whether I view the form in Reader or Acrobat. I have Thunderbird set as my default e-mail client in Internet Options. Just out of curiosity, I switched it to Outlook ...
