Re: audioSubscriber.setLocalVolume - Adobe LiveCycle 31-03-2011
does it work constantly for you even after you set audioSubscriber.publisherIDs then call audioSubscriber.setLocalVolume(vol)?i'm also thinking that if i set audioSubscriber.publisherIDs, then it is really supposed to change all the volume levels of the publishers listed in publisherIDs when i call audioSubscriber.setLocalVolume(vol)? without the publisherIDs parameter

Re: change (and list) audio input device - Adobe LiveCycle 31-03-2011
this works great, i can actually set the MicrophoneManager's selectedMic property using that combo box, i was just thinking why flash's global settings mic dialog doesn't really do anything (or perhaps it was designed for something else, i don't know). But then again, thank you for this answer, but just a couple of new questions....1. audioPublisher's microphone property only changes each time you call audioPublisher.publish right? (that's what i see on my testing - and it gets its value from the...

Re: change (and list) audio input device - Adobe LiveCycle 31-03-2011
ok, i'll try out using the microphone.names list first and use an appropriate index for each starting from 0... and then see if i can really get to assign the selected mic for the audioPublisher...

Re: server auth key - Adobe LiveCycle 31-03-2011
hi Raff, thanks for this very helpful and suggestive answer, just some other questions, so in here you mentioned "check if the room is running:", when you say room is running, that means that it invalidateSession hasn't been called on the current session yet right?how can i send that "roomEnded" message to the RoomManager? that will be sent using server code right? and roomManager is com.adobe.rtc.sharedManagers.RoomManager?another question which might not be directly related but closely related ...

Re: change (and list) audio input device - Adobe LiveCycle 31-03-2011
it would really be useful if i can list down existing microphones using the names array and then get each microphone by using the MIcrophone.getMicrophone method, but then again the Microphone.getMicrohone method only accepts mic index. Is this for security reasons that flash doesn't allow mic selection?

change (and list) audio input device - Adobe LiveCycle 31-03-2011

Re: server auth key - Adobe LiveCycle 31-03-2011
i'm just asking this because i'm thinking what is the best way for example for a host who creates a room meeting (lets say using the same room over and over again), but then again, each room meeting must be unique and independent of each other, and so i'm thinking that, if we make the host generate an authentication key when he logs in, then perhaps he can also invalidate currently existing session first, just to make sure that the previous session is gone and to prevent other users who got the ...

server auth key - Adobe LiveCycle 31-03-2011
hi, just a short question regarding the server to server session and authorization (generation of auth key)so it is a fact that if you do not invalidate a session, you will get the same auth key when using the same session, same username, same role, but for example i invalidate a session using invalidatesession call, will that action disconnect all the currently logged in users?
