I am creating a contract and would like to populate a field (contract) based on certain criteria. It would be something like this but I am not sure how to write the calculation: IF this field (project) is true then populate (contract) if null, then use this field (business), and if that is null use field (lastName). I am not up to speed on script writing so if someone can help I would really appreciate it.

I believe Krista is talking about something I would like also. To populate field (contract) IF the field (lastname) is null, then use the field (business), and if that is null use field (project). I am not up to speed on script writing so if someone can help I would really appreciate it.

I am trying to come up with the correct validation scipt for a field that requires 13 characters - either numbers or numbers and x's, but does not allow for dashes, other letters or other characters. It is used for ISBN, and needs to be regulated because the professors cannot seem to grasp what is required. Can anyone help?
