Hi,We recently upgraded our LiveCycle server from ES2 to ES4. To test the HTML forms, I've created a new application in ES4 with XDP template. Using the assign task, I have assigned a task to myself and It is not opening in LC Mobile App. However, when I copy the URL from the debug window from xcode and open in a iPAD browser, they are opening fine. Did anyone had a similar issue? Any help is appreciated. Thanks,Sandeep

Thanks Wasil. My question still would be, how to programatically fetch assigned Tasks for an users. As an administrator, When I login to AdminUI and do a tasksearch based on user name, I'm able to see all the tasks assigned to an user. I want to do the similar search using an API so that I can use it in my application. Can you please provide a sampe code to do so?-SGoli

I tried that but, No success. I see this note "the current user must have an ACL associated with the tasks in the queues being searched". What does this mean?

Paul, Thanks for your reply. Here is the actual scenario,The URL that i send to Sharepoint will be read right after the LiveCycle service is executed. This URL is not used as a link in a sharepoint site where users will click to view the PDF at a later point. The only reason i want to send the URL is to reduce the execution time of the LC Service.Once sharepoint gets the URL of the assembled document (which is in temp), they use some sort of file reader to get the file into their library. Is this ...

Hi, i have a question, I am trying to get the URL of the document that is generated by Assembler Service after stitching pdf's.Sharepoint is consuming the LiveCycle assembler service to Stitch pdf's. Right now, i am returning the base64 encoded string of the output PDF. If i can get the URL of the document that is saved in the temp location, i can return the URL instead of the base64 string. Can someone help me with the solution?Thank you,Sandeep.

In order to use webservice, you need adobe reader extensions to enable to form to make calls to webservice. Generally Adobe Free Reader does not support webservice calls. If you form is everytime rendered with a xml file to populate some data, i suggest you to use two hidden text fields where you can set the values for these two at the form initialize method.Once these two variables are set, you can make use of them globally in your form.
