I also had this problem, but it only started a few days ago. Got my IT group involved, and they re-installed Adobe Reader XI on my machine, with the latest updates also installed. This was set as default reader, and it worked - I'm up and running again!I was running Adobe DC 2017 - this is the one that went bad. They also tried DC 2019 - didn't work either. Using Windows 10 Enterprise.Hope this helps.

Hi RadzmarMany thanks for your reply, but I have just been informed that the project has been canceled. As an exercise for me I will play with the pagination. Thanks again.

Hi experts.I have a form with several master pages, first of which is portrait, rest are landscape. The landscape ones are hidden until needed, as they are "For office use only". They are hidden by setting the Object tab presence to Hidden (Exclude from Layout). However, when revealed, the page has reverted to portrait mode. I cannot find a script to re-set page to landscape.Using LC ES4.Any and all help greatly appreciated!

Many thanks for taking a look at this. As I said in my original post, I'm very much a newbie at this, so forgive a dumb question (or three!) - does this code REPLACE mine or is it in addition to it? I replaced it, but no joy. If it's in addition, where does it go?I've just realized that I didn't post it. So here is my original work, broken down into the three steps:form1.Main.Table1.Row1.Subform2.Table2.HeaderRow.Subform5.btn_Archive::click - (JavaScript, client)// Step 1 - Add line to Archive p...

I need a little help here. I have an expanding table that has a nested (also expanding) table in it. The header row contains a user-entered project name. The nested table contains milestones for each project. I have a button used to move the completed project to an Archive page. Currently, I have the button executing 3 tasks:1. Add a new section to the Archive table2. Copy the contents of the Project table to the Archive table3. Delete the contents from the Projects table.I can add a section to ...

Newbie using Using LC ES4. I have a Reset button. On click I would like to show a message box with "OK" and "Cancel" buttons, I would like the OK button to reset the form, and the Cancel to just close the message box and return to the form. I can do the reset, but the cancel escapes me.I'm using this to generate the message box:xfa.host.response("Continue with Reset? This action cannot be undone!", "Are You Sure?", 4,1);Thanks in advance.

Hi BruceBrilliant! Works like a charm, thank you so much. Could you point me in the direction of the defensive code, as I would like to see what you did? - I may need something similar in the future! Many thanks again.

Hi Bruce - I spotted a problem with the form you sent me. The logo issue is good, but the rest of the statement (in italics below) does not perform i.e the floating fields are not populatingif(this.rawValue ==1){ xfa.resolveNode("form1.#pageSet.Page1[0].ImageField1").rawValue = null;}elseif(this.rawValue ==2){ var imageData = xfa.resolveNode("form1.#pageSet.Page1[0].EMWD").value.oneOfChild.value; for (var i = 0; i < xfa.host.numPages; i++) { var imageField = xfa.resolveNode("form1.#pageSet.Page1...

Hi BruceMany, many thanks! I have taken a very quick look at your modifications, and it's going to take me a while to get my head round them - way above my knowledge/skill level!! I know I have some housekeeping to do on the form, getting rid of bad references etc., but I had to get this logo issue working first, otherwise the entire form was a no-go. This may be a a case of putting the cart before the horse...Regarding the "When exception is thrown", I set it to "Break" but when I try and open ...

Hi BruceThanks for the suggestions. The logo is not bound to anything, and does not have a calculated script. I checked this using the script and binding indicators. The form can be downloaded from this link:https://files.wmwd.com/?ShareToken=17A6D8D62C4C9C876743E541B4424636DE6101FFhttps://files.wmwd.com/?ShareToken=17A6D8D62C4C9C876743E541B4424636DE6101FFI have color-coded the agencyName text field in green, and the troublesome fields in pink. So, the Agency name is chosen from the green field, ...

I'm using Lifecycle ES4. I have a form in which one of 5 company logos is selected from a drop down field. That selection also fills in the appropriate contact information for the selected company. My problem is when a text field (called facilityName) is completed by the user, the logo disappears. There is no script associated with the field facilityName (I checked using the Script Indicator). This disappearing act is also triggered by two more text fields neither of which has script associated....
