You didn't mention the non-working behavior. Is it possible that you might not be recalculating the calculated field every time you make a change to it? (if so, it would retain the answer to the initial calculation so that no matter what you do it shows the GUID)

Hi David, Just found your post when looking for the same thing that Chrystal wanted. I like your approach, but wondering if there's any way around Workfront blasting LATE on every task, when we only care about the projected dates (on specific projects with no hard deadline). Or when every person assigned, further down the task list, is now flagged as late, when it's not their fault that their task's predecessor wasn't completed on time. Hey Chrystal, That's odd, though I might be able to explain the lack of response on us switching to a new ticketing system. If you want to PM me your case number, I can review it and ensure we get a timely response for you. In regards to the original issue, can you check your settings in Setup -> Project Preferences -> Tasks & Issues -> Actual Dates and see if "When a task or issue is completed, set the Actual Completion Date to..." and verify if it's set to "Now" or "The Planned Completion Date...
