The log file approach seems promising. Worth asking Adobe Support, even if to enable logging for only a couple of hours (I can probably check to see if there's a pattern with previous signups to get the "most popular" time of the day that they're coming in).Great idea with the JS code! Maybe something like document.referrer could work. Let me try this on a test web app and see what turns up. Thanks so much!Sonny

Hello Jean-Serge--Thank you for your reply. You're right; web tracking in the web app properties will not help in this case. Yes, we have GA but the problem is that I don't know which web page is using the web app. We have shut down this newsletter service and basically deleted the web page where we used to collect subscribers (and we have stopped sending emails to them since early August), which is why it's puzzling that we're still getting new signups. I am assuming that this source is some ro...

Hello--Just wondering if anyone here has ideas on how to trace a web app call to determine source. I have a web app that takes in name, email address and service ID to add that new recipient to a service (an email newsletter subscription, in this case). We have removed the one web page that we know that's been using this web app (essentially a web form that's using an HTTP POST command), but for some reason, I keep seeing new signups every day. Our marketing team is not aware of any active acqui...

Hi Jean-Serge--As it turns out, according to Support, it's a regression of an older issue. They have now installed the hotfix in our instance and that solved the issue without having to change our code and workflow on my end.Sonny

Thanks, Jean-Serge. Yes, you are correct: we don't have Content Manager, unfortunately. As for the urlPermission, we're actually using http only. The https test I mentioned in the original post was just a curiosity on my part, to see if it resolves anything. The base URL that I provided to Support was also http, so I wouldn't be surprised if they hard-coded only http, which is fine. That said, I've asked Support to provide the exact URL that they added to our serverConf.xml file. I'll update once...

Hi Jean-Serge--I don't fully understand what the code does, but it looks like it's grabbing whatever is in the URL (which in this case contains the web version of a daily newsletter) and writes the full HTML code of that web page into the email template during execution. Here is the code that's in the email template:<% document.startBuffering(); %><%@ include file='(sample newsletter content URL here)'%><% var dte= formatDate(new Date(), "%ail, %bil %2D, %4Y"); var html = document.stopBuffering()...

Hi all -Does anyone know if there is a way to force the storage and display of phone numbers as 999-999-9999? Our instance is defaulted to US regional settings, but phone numbers are always stored and displayed as 0999 999-9999.Thanks,Sonny

Hey Eugene - I have the same request from some of the designers and marketers I work with. A workaround that our IT team developed is using Remote Desktop Connection to connect to a spare PC that has the Campaign client installed. We were looking at Citrix at some point, but it looks like it's not (yet?) on the official compatibility list. Also curious to see what teams have done around this.Sonny

Hi all - I came across this old Neolane slide (see attached) that has a screenshot of a Salesforce lead record, at the bottom of which is a link to a pop-up window that displays marketing history for that lead (I assume the lead was originally sent from Adobe Campaign via CRM connector). Does anyone know if this capability still exists? I can't seem to find any documentation on it.Thanks,Sonny

Hi - Does anyone know what "default" browser is? I ran a distribution report on browser (@userAgent), and "default" is 3rd on the list of browsers being used by our recipients (Chrome and Firefox are #1 and #2, respectively; and #4 is IE), so I was just wondering what "default" refers to in this case.Thanks.

Thanks, Florent; that was helpful! I do have a mapping, but I keep getting this message:I routinely just ignore it, and the connector seems to run fine. But do you have an idea what's causing the message to pop?Sonny

Hi - is anyone using the CRM Connector, specifically for Salesforce? Is there a way to know what action is performed when it's set to "Export to CRM" -- is it an update or insert/create new? Thanks,Sonny
