Re: Mutually Exclusive DropDowns - Adobe LiveCycle 22-05-2012
Thank you, Niall. I used the link your post and downloaded the document located there. I was able to use the scripting in that email to create similar scripts in my document and problem solved. This was a big help. Thanks again.

Mutually Exclusive DropDowns - Adobe LiveCycle 22-05-2012
Hi, All:I am working on a form in which I need to have a user rate four items from 1-4 in comparison to each other. Initially we were going to use 4 drop downs each drop down containing the four options allowing the user to choose. The problem is, of course, that the user could choose option 1 four times in a row. So I need some way to allow the user to rate these four items from 1 - 4 but in a mutually exclusive manner. the image below shows the problem (they're in spanish but the text isn't im...

Attaching files after signature - Adobe LiveCycle 24-11-2011
Good Day, All:I have a form that is being submitted via email through a total of 5 people. So the 1st person signs and send to the second person who signs and sends to the next person and so on. The form is working fine but the problem is perhaps the 2nd or 3rd person needs to attach a file which is not possible after the 1st person signs. I have an "attach file" button which works great until someone signs after which it no longer works. Also, clicking the paperclip and using the add button doe...

Importing XML Response Files - Adobe LiveCycle 23-05-2011
We have a form that is facilitating a submission to a server location as an XML file. Initially things were going well. Opening the response file would automatically load any new responses. Unfortunately after 50 or 60 responses were loaded the computer crashed and after recovering the response file only shows 33 responses so apparently the file was not saved correctly. Is there a way to manually import the XML responses into the response file?

Re: Disable submit button after submission - Adobe LiveCycle 23-05-2011
Thank you for the response. That is a great tip and I can use it if this other option is not possible. What would be ideal is to make the button "readonly". greyed out or otherwise disabled. I looked through the propoerty list and I couldn't see a way to make that happen. Is there a property to force "readonly"?

Disable submit button after submission - Adobe LiveCycle 23-05-2011
We have a form that we have distributed to multiple users. The form is set so that submissions go to a pre-defined server location. The problem is that some of the users submit the form multiple times (not sure why). Perhaps they don't notice the message that says "Form submitted". In any case, we would like to disable the submit button after the form is submitted (even it is only for that "session"). I know that once the form is closed and reopened the button will work again and that is ok. If ...
